"Delivery personnel are friendly and helpful. My problem has been with office personnel. I’ve called a good 5 times to resolve an issue and been told someone “with authority” will call back. I’ve yet to receive a call (no record of it on my phone/ no voicemail) but I’ve been told they have called. This has gone on for over a week, probably two. We’ve been customers for over 20 years."

"New customer here. Both the driver who delivered and set my tank and the first delivery driver were prompt, efficient, and courteous. I've had years with Amerigas and Ferrellgas has them beat in customer service and pricing."

"I don't want to give any stars but it won't let me post if I don't. Worse propane experience of my life. I have a month worth of call records from the time I first ordered propane to a month later when it still never came and I went with White River Energy. I was literally hours away from being out of propane in January and first it was they were short drivers, then the driver couldn't find my house and went to the wrong one, then it was she couldn't find the tank which was a bold face lie because I was home and no propane truck came down my driveway at all. Then they cancelled my order, I started a new one, and they cancelled that one too. Said according to their records I had plenty of propane to last until they could get out there. Again, I was within hours of running. Thank you White River Energy for saving us. 1 Million thumbs down for Ferrell Gas."

"Just as instructed I called for a refill of our tank when it was close to 30% full. I was told a date that the propane would be delivered and took all actions to make sure our driveway was cleared to assure access. That date has passed and no gas so I called (twice) and informed the service representative that frigid weather was coming in along with a large snowstorm and that a more specific delivery date would help me balance snow clearing for access to caregiving for my dying spouse. They assured me (twice) that someone would call me back with delivery details. I'm still waiting for that call. This is the second winter I've had this experience. After this winter I'll be looking for another propane delivery service. Oh - and don't get me started on the pathetic singing you have to endure while put on hold waiting for the next representative."

"I had a terrible experience with Ferrel Gas this winter. We were out of gas for 12 days in the middle of the coldest month. I called every single day explaining I had a newborn baby at home and never was given a honest answer when gas would be delivered. The only way I could get through the phone systems was to call the “emergency” line and someone different answered every time. When I asked for a local office the number provided just put me back into the National 1 800 number. The customer service people I spoke to were all equally apathetic to our situation. A little bit of compassion and an apology would have gone a long way but I was seriously devastated by how uncaring every single staff member was. I was told the driver in my area quit or something like that and there were lots of people without gas. That’s unacceptable. It’s also unacceptable to not at least give a delivery date. I would appreciate a call from someone at Ferrel gas but don’t expect you have time because there are many unhappy customers just like me."
