Maverik Adventure's First Stop

"I stop In late last night for some quick nachos and a drink. When I went to pay the worker asked me if it was one or two bags. Of chips. I said one. He continues to say well that looks like two. Anyway I paid was almost out the door. And he had went to the trash and yelled I knew that was two bags in front of other customers it was quite embarrassing so I went back in and confronted him he yelled at me saying he has been doing this along time and knows all the tricks. So I told them if you truly believe I’m trying to steal I will pay. So the manager asked me again was it two bags or one and I again said one. So he said he will look at the camera. About ten minutes later he comes out and says you can go so I ask. So was I trying to steal and he was like no you only had one bag. At that point I didn’t even want the nachos. Anyway. A heads up if you get nachos. Take the bag up with you. So you can prove you only used one."

"Great store unless you want to pay at the pump then you are screwed not a card reader working on the pumps ever. Not like is new technology. Pay at the pump has been around since the 90's!"

"This used to be my go to gas station for all my vehicles and work vehicle. But for the last 1 1/2 years there card readers at the pumps do not work. They have said for over a year they will be fixed soon but have not been fixed, my problem is that today i told the lady “your card readers arent working (they worked for 2 weeks then stopped)”, she said “yup”, they could care less about it and on multiple occasions have been rude about it. Multiple people at work have said “stop going there, i stopped going there over a year ago, its the worst maverik and grand junction”, now im finally at that point. Im sick of going inside, waiting 5-10 minutes while the employees stand around playing on their phones while customers wait in long lines. This place is terrible"

"I too have issues with the card readers at the pump FOR MONTHS. I too have complained to staff multiple times and I have been told "we always have issues...." by the person behind the counter. The solution I have come up with for my problem... if I don't use it, i won't know that it is broken. Meaning, I won't be going to Maverik ANYMORE. I DON'T WANT TO GO INSIDE TO PAY FOR GAS WHEN I SHOULD BE ABLE TO PAY AT THE PUMP. Therefore, i will spend my money at Golden Gate. I don't care if their gas is more expensive. If Maverik doesn't care about their customers enough to make sure equipment is working properly, then I don't see why I should care to patronize the establishment."

"The card readers on the gas pumps at this location seem to always have issues. Going to golden gate across the street and haven’t had any issues there with card readers. Even the employee at the counter at Maverik say they always have issues… maybe they should get them serviced or get them fixed!"
