"I wanted to compliment the managers of the store and Edgewater! I love shopping there, and I think all of the people that work there are very helpful. I wanted to point out my experience with Jim, the pharmacy manager, and his team in the pharmacy. They are amazing. Jim has been so helpful to me. He and Kyle both have helped me. I had a severe condition where I was having seizures, and they were so knowledgeable about the medicines and side effects and so helpful with personal experience to help me feel strong and capable. Every time I visit the pharmacy, it’s like seeing my family. Jim has been so excellent to me and my family. I will never forget one time we were so sick and we didn’t know what to do and we couldn’t figure out the medicine because of the doctors mistake and Jim handled it and saved us. It was unique, and he stayed calm, relaxed, and collected the entire time. Kyle has helped me so much with my questions and things about my Seizures, and Mary and the other girls are excellent, too! I cannot express my genuine gratitude to the pharmacy at The Pharmacy at King Soopers. I’ve never seen anything like it, and I think it is one of the best places in Denver! I’ve had my prescriptions all over every other Pharmacy throughout Arvada and Denver, and I would never leave Edgewater! I highly recommend the pharmacy staff, and I can’t say enough about the professionalism and the fantastic support of Jim, the Pharmacy Manager. I can not say enough about the care the pharmacy provides. Jim is the mission and vision of King Soopers, which is to suppot their customers with excellent service and knowledge. The pharmacy is always friendly, and they treat you like your family, and they make sure that you have everything you need. I’m amazed, and I couldn’t be more grateful for Jim, Kyle and their staff. Thank you, Jim, for being such a great mentor and the pharmacy in Edgewater Colorado is one of the best in the state, and I know it because I’ve tried almost all of them."
"There was a time when shopping here was a good experience, sadly idk what happened? Now, this store is probably one of the worst in the area. Reading the comments here, many about the lack of good employees, ironically many would find it interesting that this location chooses NOT to hire good people. A friend of mine went in seeking a job. Previously she worked ten years for public school system but wasn’t hired by this KS. My son who worked for this KS, never late, never called in & was always dedicated, quit to go to school. He left giving adequate notice but wasn’t given the chance to return. Furthermore, in trying to talk to the store manager she abruptly told him all positions were filled & hung up on him. So RUDE. No wonder this store is in the substandard state it’s in bcz it’s obvious the leadership is lacking severely. The service desk is randomly open. Many of the workers have bad attitudes & lack quality customer assistance training. AND that self checkout(!), they stand around in groups talking and when you ask them for help they give awful attitude. Idk what can be done about this location, maybe an overhaul starting with the store manager."
"This place is terrible. The shopping experience is closer to a Dollar General or Walmart than a Kroger grocery store. From the moment you walk in you're met with dated yellow florescent lighting and made to feel like a criminal with the entry gates. Good luck finding a cart that doesn't have a broken wheel and the odds of finding a shopping basket are basically 0 (I asked an employee why they never have any and she said they're frequently stolen). The shopping experience is equally bad, the aisles are dirty and narrow and they are constantly cluttered with unpacked merchandise. Once you get to checkout, there is usually 1-2 lanes open or self checkout. If you decide to use a standard checkout have fun unloading your groceries then bagging them yourself (I've yet to see a bagger here). The cashier will scan your items then stare wide eyed at you while you bag your groceries instead of helping; so much for customer service. Sadly this neighborhood doesn't have a different grocery store nearby so I'm stuck shopping here if I don't want to drive. Do better King Soopers!!"
"This store is terrible!. The staff member Stephen is a terrible man to have working customer service very bad attitude throws hands in air and sighs because he was asked to call for a manager. The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting I guess the migrants don't do bathrooms. The manager did not care about restrooms or the fact someone noticed how disgusting they are. Desperate people will still come here to lazy to make a difference yes I'm talking to you. Good luck with this place."
