"Lumber is expensive compared to Lowes and Home Depot, what one would expect in a small town lumber yard. Ace means Ace Hardware and there is a lot of stuff to be had from paint to tools to plumbing to some auto and RV items. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Big Johns also rents equipment. Most items I need in a hurry to complete a project can be found there. I bought a thousand pound wood stove from the New England and with permission from Big Johns manager had it shipped to Big Johns. Without any kind of extra charge Big Johns' crew got it loaded on my trailer. That moves my rating from a 4 to a 5."

"Rude staff following my partner and I around and making us feel uncomfortable. We were just shopping and they made us feel like we were doing something wrong. We kept being hounded by the blond lady working there. We won't be back. We'll go to delta for our business. We live so close it's a shame. But we rather make the drive to delta then feel like we can't shop comfortably. Maybe hire staff that doesn't profile your customers. 0 stars."
