Children's Hospital Colorado - Pediatric Gastroenterology

"The appointment line person has been rude each time I’ve called and wholly unconcerned with helping us. We’ve had trouble getting the referral to them and finally had our doctor print and fax it directly. The response this time was that it could take 7 days for them to get it via fax (even though endocrinology got it immediately this time and has been very nice and helpful even before then) and to basically stop calling despite it being weeks since we got the initial referral with no recourse. “We will automatically call you if and when we get it.” Also “we’re scheduling out to December anyways” with an attitude as if to discourage me. Like that really matters when you’re essentially my only choice for an 11 month old who hasn’t grown at all since they were 6 months old and is in the >.1%. I’d at least like to get on the schedule. Clearly they don’t care though."

"Updating this rating. After being in tears due to being treated horribly, I managed to call back and spoke with the first caring person so far. She actually listened to what I was saying and heard my concerns and answered ALL my questions with respect and care. My daughter has an appointment and a plan of care and I was given the information instead of being hung up on. I did not catch your name and I am sorry for that, but thank you for easing this mommas heart and helping me through the fear and frustration. Rating: 1 star: Every single person I spoke with was rude. I told them many times I was misinformed and they still couldn't give me answers and they were disrespectful about everything I asked. I was hung up on multiple times. My child needs help and this office is NOT there to help. It's sad because I always turn to children's but this was the last straw. My child matters and her life matters!"
