"The young receptionist with the short brown hair was the rudest person (Front desk)Told me she wouldnt update the parent info until we paid the remaining $30 balance (from a self pay visit) or even take my copay for the visit we were ready for. (She would not take the call from my Ex to pay the $30) I offered my ID, insurance card and my CC up front and she acted as if i was the problem. If I ever have to deal with her again (even just to be checked in) we will definitely be moving pediatrician's office. We love the rest of the staff. Doctors and medical assistants are all great with my two kiddos."
"Front desk staff was awful and was more interested in talking about the food she was eating than a detailed explanation on why they made me drive an hour out of the way for something they told me would be just fine. If it wasn’t for the Broomfield team being awesome I would not hesitate to find a new pediatrician."
"Sucks that I have to write this review because we have had a good experience until now. We’ve been going here for a little over a year and they have been great for routine checkups. However, once you have an issue that is not routine and not easy to identify, they have been awful. First of all, when I called to have my child seen, the person who answered the phone was SO rude. They asked questions that didn’t really have black and white answers. I didn’t know if my child was experiencing a new sickness or having complications from a sickness she just got over. They clearly didn’t care and just wanted me to give an exact timeline. I decided to let it go because I get it. I’ve been a receptionist for a medical office before and it sucks having someone call right when the phones roll over and she was clearly annoyed. I had my child seen and they had no answers for me. I can’t really fault them for it because her symptoms hadn’t fully developed by then. However, they said to call if she didn’t get better by Friday. I call Thursday because she was starting to get a fever and complaining about pain all over her body which was concerning. The triage nurse completely dismissed me and tried to say my daughter (5 years old) is experiencing anxiety and is possibly just seeking attention???? My daughter was definitely having some anxiety because she was experiencing symptoms that she has never felt before. However, she has never tried to use a sickness to seek attention and in fact, she was upset that we had to cancel plans because of her being sick. I felt completely abandoned as a patient and felt that I had no support to help navigate this sickness. I didn’t want to call back despite being concerned all weekend about my child. It is absolutely unacceptable for a triage nurse to tell someone their child is seeking attention especially when they are showing symptoms. Now that my daughter is much better, I’ve come to my own conclusion that she may have had a mild case of measles because the pain in her face was caused by these clusters of white bumps in her mouth. I have no way of knowing for sure because my concerns were not taken seriously. The doctors that we have seen in the past have been great but this time we did not get to see any of them. We only saw the PA and talked to the triage nurse. I now understand why there are so many 1 star reviews that say the same thing. Do not recommend unless they improve their staff."
"Been taking my daughter here since she was a newborn. We were willing to deal with the rude front desk staff because we loved our physician but she left so it was not worth it anymore. Building seems rundown and staff are not personable or engaged."
"Refused treatment to our 15 month old because insurance couldn't fix their PCP mistake fast enough (have been seeing Dr.McCue his whole life). Wouldn't even let us pay out of pocket to keep an important follow up appointment. Glad to know they view children as a revenue stream first and foremost."
