"Bayfield/Durango pediatric partners has always been pretty good to us but especially today. I called and got my 4 5 yr old son in within a few hours at the requested Bayfield office. He saw Lauren Laqua and she, the MA, and office staff were so incredible. I was able to get my son taken care of and even got advice for my daughter's sickness. I highly recommend this office and am really hoping I can have Lauren see my kids as a PCP."

"I love everything about PPSW except how they have handled business during COVID-19, I was sent a letter because we skipped her well check last year, that was originally in March due to everything going on. The letter stated that she was no longer considered an active patient and might not be able to access same day sick visits due to this missed well check. The message I got from the letter was that PPSW's business matters more than the welfare of my child who I chose to keep away from medical locations when it was not necessary due to COVID. And then I got a phone call for this year's well check, so I called to make an appointment, and they only have a single phone number for all locations and an extremely long message at the beginning that covers up what you are to press to even make an appointment. On top of that, I went into the patient portal to see if I could make an appointment there, and I cannot even see my child's information. I feel that PPSW has been neither convenient or compassionate at this time, and if I had an option here in Pagosa, I would change providers."

"Dr. Huffman is awesome! And the nurse we saw was so great too! They both were thorough and gave us ample, undivided time. We just had our first visit to this office and it was very nice! It was clean, modern, and kid-friendly. I also appreciated that they utilize current technology for a lot of the forms and have an easy to use patient portal."
