"Scheduled an appointment and showed up on time. Front desk told me I went to the wrong location even though all my emails state Tutt as the location. Couldn't be seen for an urgent issue and was told my doctor was booked the rest of the day and this location only had an appointment later. I took time off work to come to this appointment and can't take even more time off. They can't explain why the wrong address was on the email."
"Don't both. You call to cancel, and you think you are and then you get a letter from a collection agency saying you owe 3 months. They won't talk to you and the collection agency says you either pay or have your credit marked. Been with them 3 years and had for 2 appointments and not even a blood draw."
"Jamie, the woman who enrolled me, held back information about how to end membership, even though I asked her up front before enrolling. I wish to un-enroll, and was told by Jamie that I needed to fill out a form giving a 30 day notice. Turns out, even though I give that 30 day notice, My membership will go to the end of July, it will not stop in 30 days, as Jamie indicated before I enrolled. When I asked why she was not forth coming with this information when I first asked, her response was "Because you are the first person to throw a tantrum about it". When I responded in anger to that immature, unprofessional response, she said "Rose, Why are you so angry about this?" Hello? Why is a paying member angry because you turned intelligent and fair questions into a "tantrum"? THIS is customer service? This is immature, unprofessional, behavior. This is not the work of a program that cares about people. I told Jamie I wanted the form to fill out to cancel my membership, and that I want it now. I am guessing her need to be in power over the people she is paid to serve will prevent her from sending it today. I will repeat my request. I want to cancel my membership, I want to fill out the form today (Monday, June 28, 2021) and I will not speak to any other member of this organization except the Dr. I saw and the owner/very top person. After I hit "post" I will be researching where to go to get help if I am not allowed to cancel today. My phone conversation with Jamie was recorded, and this review is in writing. The sad part is that I really loved the Dr. I saw. It is all the other gatekeepers that make or break a medical office. My reasons for leaving have to do with horrid treatment from Jamie, an MA, and most disappointing of all, an Office Manager. UPDATE: I got a standard response from the business, asking me to call them. As I said, I will not talk to anyone other than the Dr. and the owner/top person. Those 2 people can call or text me if they want more details. Second update: I called to request a form to release my complete records, including labs, to me. The woman who answered the phone made a large production out of it. I simply wanted the form mailed to me, as neither email or picking up the form will work for me at this time. It made no sense. I called customer support to discuss yet another bizarre experience and ask what the protocol was. The rep gave me an explanation about HIPPA and US mail, etc. that didn't hold water. Other Dr.s mail forms and records all the time, plus HIPPA has nothing to do with her explanation. I asked her to clarify and of course, she couldn't. Then, she started defending the practice and making odd excuses. Predictably, there was absolutely no "I am sorry that happened", or any other verbage that remotely suggested she or the practice cared about my experience. Again, in my limited experience, which included talking to many people even though I only had one appt., the doctor was the only person who presented as if I mattered. If he went elsewhere, I would likely follow him."
"Had one visit just to refer me out and was only 1 day into my new cycle and they charged me an entire month. Attempted to dispute but they sent me to collections. Gonna be referring everyone away from them. If you have medical, find someone in network"
"Always good experience and thoughtful medical care. Best alternative to incredibly expensive health insurance with enormous deductibles. Appointments are easy to schedule and never have to wait when you arrive. All the staff, from the front desk to medical assistants to physicians, are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend Peak Med to anyone for efficient, honest, caring health care."
