CSOG Express Bone & Joint Injury Care

"Everyone was very nice but I was never seen by a physician. The PA only told me I don’t need surgery but offered no information about next steps ie healing time, etc but did offer a splint. After the PA evaluated my X-rays from Kaiser, someone came by to take me to X-ray. I was like uh that’s already done. She looked confused, didn’t say anything and left. The splint never happened either because I left after I was left alone for an extended period of time, visited periodically to be told “be right there.” I decided to leave because everyone was busy with other patients. Perhaps they were more urgent? I have a broken foot. Someone started to evaluate me for the splint and in the middle of that, she was like wait I’ll be right back and never returned. I saw her helping at least 2 other patients in the area during that time, including giving crutches to one, then getting payment from him while I was sitting in the next room after she started evaluating me for the splint. After I left I got a phone call but I was tired of waiting and wanted to go home. I was exhausted. I had to pay my $40 deductible and all I received of value was that I don’t need surgery. I need more info so I will be going to another doctor later this week."

"CSOG Express was a great place to go. I wish I knew about them sooner. They were very professional and nice. I fractured my foot Monday night and didn’t get a diagnosis from my primary till Friday. I was not given any helpful instructions from my doctor to make it till Monday. My mother told me about CSOG express, went in Saturday and they got me set up with a boot and a follow up appointment. I was really impressed by their level of care. I would highly recommend them!!"

"I was advised to go to Express Care.for an x-ray, and that I would not need an appointment. When I got there, I was told that there was no provider (x-ray tech) and that I would have to go to the 3rd floor. Obviously there is no "Express Care" up there, as I waited more than an hour, after I finished pages of paperwork, to be seen. I was in the building more than 2 hours when I told the woman who checked me in that I couldn't wait any longer. She was advised that my name had just been put next a room. Another 15 minutes went by before I was finally taken back. In that whole time there was only one other person waiting for Express Care, and they had obviously been waiting longer than me. I realize that there are people with appointments, however when there are such a small number of people waiting for Express Care, it seems to me that someone could take them back much sooner than we were. It wasn't our fault that there wasn't an x-ray tech available, and that no arrangements were made for another one."

"We were able to be seen shortly after arriving to the orthopedic walk in clinic. And the nurses and PA were very kind, helpful, taking X-rays and consulting with us quickly. We didn’t wait long at all. Really excited to know this clinic exists. Not that we look forward to “having to use it”. But great to know there’s an orthopedic walk-in option if needed. Setup like an urgent care but billed like an office visit."

"Was great experience. They got to me right away. All were friendly and most helpful. When I went in could not put weight on right leg but was able to walk out. I am a real baby about needles but this was my best experience with having to get them ever. Had to get knee drained and then steroid, so had multiple needles but I did have my eyes closed the whole time."
