"As I grieve the loss of my wife, Joanne, who passed just short of our 52nd anniversary--and because I "live a lot in my head" as they say--the music therapy facilitated by Marissa has been "spot on' for me. At 82, I have also been able to become aware of some other issues, along with the grieving, which I have found quite helpful in addressing."

"Beware of billing their practices. Bills are dated the 1st of the month and given a due date of the 12th of the same month. Resonate Music Therapy does not accept medical insurance. A bill could total over $400. If you fail to make payment in full by the due date listed on the statement, you are assessed a late fee. I was unable to make the payment in full until the 15th of the month. My original bill was 202.25 (this is the amount for only half of the original amount due), failure to pay by the 12th assessed a late fee of $20.00. Here is Resonate Music Therapy’s late fee policy: (this is quoted directly from RMT) Late Fee Policy: We are trying to clean up our billing process. We want to ensure that all bills are getting out in a timely manner, and being paid in a timely manner. We want to standardize expectations so no one is left confused about how we operate. Resonate will now be consistently implementing a late fee charge to overdue bills at 10% of the total bill. This late fee will be applied if the bill is not paid on or prior to the due date. This will be effective immediately to all bills moving forward. Consider your options carefully when choosing a practice for therapy. Ask about their billing practices and know your rights in relation to billing and collections."

"Marissa F. was our music teacher for Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind early literacy event last month (February). The families loved her and she made music accessible and fun for Deaf/HH children. We hope to have her with us again someday."
