"We saw the pediatrician Diana and were severely disappointed in our treatment. If you choose medical freedom they will straight up tell you to go somewhere else. We didn’t go in there to be hassled we went there so my child could be treated for some symptoms he was having. The whole time she gave us attitude and made it known that she did not want us there. We shall not be going here again. There are ways of getting the point across without rudeness. Unfortunately that was not the case in this situation. Now I know and now that you’ve read this you know too."
"Our son has been seeing Dr. Tapay for a variety of things and we love her!"
"We love the staff at Monument Pediatrics and Dr. Tapay is amazing!"
"This office is an absolute nightmare. My son has been sick with severe diarrhea since the beginning of November. Dr. Tapay continued to tell me that it was “just a virus”. The next appointment my husband and I requested a stool sample and she made us feel like that was unnecessary as the “likely scenario would be that there was nothing in the stool, and just another virus”. Turns out my son tested positive for CDiff!! But… just a virus, right? Dr. Tapay did not even call us to give us the results or explain cdiff to us. Most people never have to deal with this, but she did not think to call us and let us know that hand sanitizer doesn’t kill cdiff only washing your hands with soap & water does, among many other things she should’ve called to explain to us. If she couldn’t personally contact us with this information, a nurse should have. We are totally aware that doctors/nurses are busy, especially this year with so many illnesses going around, but this is just unacceptable. My son finally got on antibiotics, and his symptoms seemed to resolve…until about a week after finishing his 10 day antibiotic. We monitored the symptoms for a few days, and then took him back to the doctor to get another stool sample done. His stool sample was given to the lab on December 22nd and we have STILL not received the results. I have called every single day to check on the progress, nothing still. He is still suffering, but this doctor’s office does not care. We are extremely unhappy with the “care” we’ve received from this office. Don’t waste your time here."
"I'm going to choose my words carefully because i want this review to stay up. I have had various kids go to Monument Pediatrics (the old name for Optum Monument Pediatrics) for years, and one thing has persevered through the years. THE FRONT DESK LADY IS TERRIBLE. Google prohibits specifically mentioning an individual, but if you go to Optum Monument Pediatrics and you are condescended to, made to feel small, made to feel stupid, or if you had to BEG the person to just do their basic job, you have encountered her. I can only assume that management either doesn't care, or doesn't know."
