"If you want a provider that will listen to you as a person, this is not the place to go. The providers feels very strongly about the BRAND NAME medications they prescribe. When I first came to the practice, my thyroid levels were fine. Jean changed my medication to Synthroid and my levels have never been the same. They refuse to prescribe generic Synthroid. They say it is unethical to prescribe levothyroxine . What I find unethical, is the lack of partnership between the patient and provider. The other thing I find unethical is that I have gone from hypothyroid to hyper and symptomatic. Prior to seeing this office, my thyroid was fine and within normal limits. When I got my most recent labs I asked to be put back on the medication I was on prior to coming to this office. Apparently, they also find Armour Thyroid to be unethical because she told me my primary care can prescribe it because she wouldn't. When my labs came back with pre-diabetes, her response to me was "Just eat less carbs." She didn't ask how many carbs I was eating. I was already eating less than a diagnosed diabetic would be recommended to eat. They don't look at you as an individual person. According to CBS news, "It's illegal to give kickbacks to a doctor to prescribe drugs, but it is legal to give money to doctors to help promote your drug. Some doctors make tens of thousands or hundred of thousands of dollars a year beyond their normal practice just for working with the industry.""
"Business operations are less than desirable. However, Dr Henley has helped me resolve my endocrine issues and finally feel better."
"Dr. Henley is a knowledgeable doctor in Endocrinology. I was with her for many years without issues. I actually miss her being my Endocrinologist doctor. There were problems in that office when I left. First and biggest issue is her strong tie with Medtronic for CGM & insulin pump. If Dr. Henley and staff was on board using Dexcom, I'd still be a patient. There was was a time when the staff was stable and employed there for a long time. I don't know the details of what happened there but was a lot of turn over in staff before I left. I was sorry for all that occurred in this office that made have to make the decision to leave. I still do miss Dr. Henley's knowledge, plus we had a good doctor patient relationship. 4.5 stars for Dr. Henley, 1 star because of the Medtronic and staff problems, hence the 2 star rating."
"Dr Henley and the educator Leeigh are the only good things I have to say about this clinic. I have 2 chronic illnesses that cause me to be sick constantly. I missed my last appointment due to being hospitalized and they sent me a letter saying I was dropped for no call no showing. I had my gf call the day of my appointment and tell them I wouldn't make it and needed to reschedule. They let her reschedule on the phone but sent me the letter anyways and Leigha (the rudest receptionist I've ever spoken to) even acknowledged speaking to her. I called and spoke to another receptionist that was able to advocate my case with Dr Henley and get me back in but when I called today Leigha said that wasn't allowed and she didn't have the permission to do that. I wish I could have a word with this lady because she's literally putting my health at risk by being rude and arrogant."
"Dr. Henley was very professional. She listens well, and has been very thorough investigating my symptoms. Overall, a good experience, but the receptionist is a very different story. She seemed disorganized, short-tempered, and unable to complete one task before moving on to the next. Her telephone etiquette is almost non-existent, as she seemed distracted and disconnected the call when she tried to place me on hold, then left me on hold for over twenty minutes before I hung up and called back."
