STRIDE CHC - Potomac Street

"Today 2-28-2024 I went into the clinic not knowing they did not take walking. I was having an allergic reaction to something and was having a hard time breathing. I told the lady and the desk I did not have an appt but I was having a reaction to something and felt like I could not breathe. She proceeded to tell me that they did not take walk ins 5hat I would have to go to the peoria office. Well urgent care seemed closer as again I felt like I couldn't breathe. This could have ended badly, who would have thought a Doctors Office would turn someone away in an emergency like this.The provider I see there christina karl is wonderful. How do you get turned away when you are struggling to breathe?"

"Going here has been an unpleasant experience- my recommendation is to avoid them, if at all possible."

"Never actually do anything I had an accident a few months ago I tell them all my pain and they haven’t bothered to do x-rays after I told them multiple times I was suffering from a rib injury, keep in mind this accident was in December and nothing has been done but shoving me useless medication. Never going back again"

"This place just won’t help me at all… I been going for over a year for a cyst/abscess and the problem just keeps getting worse. I am in worse shape now then when I started going. The doctors don’t see, to care that I can’t sit down or walk. Every time I go they just say it’s fine you don’t need medicine even after a different doctor has scheduled me for surgery. "I scheduled for the 700 Potomac location and called and cancelled my appointment in a respectful manner and when rescheduled the gal did not tell me I wasn't going to be seen at the 700 Pototmac location it was somewhere on E Colfax which I could not find, GPS kept telling me to turn on Elmira and you can't. Finally, 5 minutes passed my appt time i see it from the street view but there was no parking. SMH. I will find another place to go. I mean come on now. and....masks don't work."
