"I have had T11-S1 fusion with Harrington rods in my back, & C3-C7 fusion neck surgery done a year apart by Dr. John Barker and his physician assistant Mike Schweid. I really like both of these doctors. They are a great team. They are compassionate, truly care about you as a person, they joke with you, smile & are friendly, all which makes you feel at ease. They don’t rush you in & out of the visit like most doctors do, and they are good at listening. I really like that right after each office visit with them, they go into a room to dictate what was said & what was seen in the xrays, etc. I like that it’s done this way because then things said are fresh in their mind. I’ve checked what was written and both doctors have always been accurate as to what I told them & what was discussed in the visit. Other doctors try to type on their laptops & want you to talk at the same time to which I’ve found most times get stuff wrong. I am very happy with both my surgeries, and wish that all doctors had the personalities & professionalism that these two have. Both of these doctors get a 5 star plus rating from me."
