"I lucked out in being the only patient in the waiting room that evening and was seen immediately by an ER MD. The doctor was very thorough and wanted to make sure she helped me meet my goals for care. She explained everything: which tests she was ordering and why, what her thought process was, and what my options were. Before sending me home, she mentioned a couple of concerns she thought i should follow up with my regular specialist about. Everyone i interacted with was really nice and professional. It might have been the best urgent care experience I’ve had. Edited: wait a minute! Why does my EOB say Hospital Outpatient visit and Im being billed $500 copay for an ER visit???? If I’d gone to the UCHealth Urgent care it would have been under $50!!"
"Don't bother. I was between PCPs and ran out of refills for an important medication. The "provider", who I suspect was actually an NP, claimed to have never heard of my tachycardia medication. I've been a patient at National Jewish for several years and she should have been able to see that I have been on it for quite some time. The NJH website claims it's staffed by physicians but I'd be embarrassed to admit I was one and had never heard of ivabradine. Had to go to the ER where a real physician had no problem refilling it."
"I had great care from National Jewish immediate care! Kelli Lewis and her two nurses were compassionate, kind and very supportive. An additional shoutout to Heather - she made me feel comfortable during my time there."
"I went in with COVID symptoms and was having trouble breathing. I was seen right away. They quickly diagnosed me and gave me medicine to help me breath. I was in and out in under an 45 min. I have gone to many urgent care clinics in the past and this was by far the best."
"Really dissapointed. I drove a long way to go since National Jewish is where all my doctors are. I thought I'd receive quality care. Not at the walkin clinic. Nothing like National Jewish. I was made to feel unwelcome by the doctor who also got very put out that I couldn't tolerate the meds she wanted to give me. EKG for a sore throat and inflamed airway?! Finally gave me a shot, no antibiotics even though I have a lung infection and have COPD... She called the next day with test results, asked how I was doing and said you should go to an ER. Probably will have to when the infection goes into pneumonia! Poor quality at this clinic. Such a shame."
