"I felt very comfortable and trusting. I look forward to my next appointment"
"We had high hopes based on what they say on their website but this practice is totally fine leaving patients in a mental health crisis hanging with no response for days on end. Even when you call and leave messages and emails for almost five days straight, no one even tries to help. It’s almost impossible to get anyone to answer the phone and when finally you do, they can’t even reach out to your Dr or have another Dr call you back. They don’t offer any suggestions for how to manage your crisis and act as if they can’t be bothered. The receptionist has zero compassion and is just flat out rude. How can you call yourself a mental health practice when you clearly don’t care about helping your patients suffering from true debilitating anxiety/depression etc. Do not go here if you need more than a monthly appointment with a basic antidepressant. Do not go here if you want to be treated like your mental health matters. They will treat you like a number and are not concerned in the slightest if you are truly suffering. They do not even have a patient portal or any way to directly connect with your Dr if you have questions regarding medication changes or side effects. Your stuck dealing with a rude receptionist who can’t even be bothered to answer the phone 9 out of 10 times."
"On intake: I felt Safe, heard, and understood. I was reevaluated in a way that I wasn’t defined by other psychologists completely. I went three times. The intake was as above, the ongoing visits were with a different person than I met. My biggest concern was sleep and weening off properly. I don’t understand why Colleen thought I was Bipolar and I was taking it and my vision got worse. It wasn’t even the started dose. On top of that she kept pushing more medicines and higher doses just to get me to ween off medicine. She was very rude for an hour yelling at me about seeing multiple providers. This was not true. On intake I told her I stopped seeing someone to stay with her. All of the things she yelled at me about were her needing her own help. I understood and had to calm her down. Then the next time I took my mom in person even though I did lose my job because it took over a week to fill the prescriptions. There was terrible communication and when I told her I am unsure why it showed my old provider when I called the pharmacy. The intake was a lot of information. For someone with anxiety who expressed her ptsd symptoms and her putting me on nothing that worked after I’ve seen psychiatrists for 15 years was deflating. I don’t know how my prescription was filled but it was, and I told her thank you for one. She was rude every visit. I took my mom in and we decided that someone yelling at me after abuse wasn’t ideal not to mention the fact that 7 days passed and I never Slept. The medication she put me on was for seizures and bipolar. I left And found someone in network that helped. He immediately was concerned, as I have mentioned I don’t have seizures it has been tried and I am open to seeing what she says. I have the sheet and even if it was a mood stabilizer she should have looked over my medications and my history because I was In the hospital short after her prescribing something that made me almost blind. I thought it was just that I needed new glasses. I don’t know if I would still have my job, but I was Very understanding and she wouldn’t stop yelling at me or jumping the medicine up a lot. My body is sensitive and I’ve been told by my pcp and other individuals that I sought help from during the emergency visit because the medication she prescribed at the starting dose was not a starting dose and conflicted with my heart. I had to withdraw and it was the worst feeling of my life. I had Previously asked multiple times why we were using this medication and doing medications all at once instead of letting the other ones kick in. When I told her I wanted to keep at the dose of a drug similar, she said we should go up. I inquired why if it was working. This is when I told her I hadn’t taken the mood stabilizer so I knew the one antidepressant was helping with my mood regulation. I had to report to my cardiologist why my heart was alerting them on my loop recorder of so many issues. This is the place I thought was good about medication but pushes more and more. Or at least I can speak on behalf of Colleen Manzanares. I am unsure if she even knows what she is doing. I’m getting help doing the same thing elsewhere and I am finally getting to a good place. There isn’t much security discussing your concerns because they seem really unresponsive and project anger. Personally, the professionalism and knowledge is not there. I recommend other places. That was the worst withdrawal I have gone through and worst treatment. I’m glad to have found a place not full of smoke and mirrors."
"The scheduling and intake processes were very straightforward. Colleen Manzanares was very compassionate and caring, and I feel very supported. Health appointments are inherently vulnerable and it is never a guarantee to walk away feeling good, and so I am quite grateful for my appointment with Colleen."
"My doctor was great, she is very willing to jump in and make changes which I’ve had a very hard time finding someone to help me."
