"Need to be reachable when their clients have issues, like running out of their meds. I was blown off and put in a dangerous position because of it. If you're there to help people, actually do it. Kelly was fine but dealing with the office staff (Ernesto in particular) was infuriating. He was unprofessional, rude, and was the reason I stopped using their services."
"Let me be clear when I say, Ernesto is NOT A LAWYER. He on many occasions told me liabilities in regards to MY health, with MY doctor. I really don't know what "liabilities" he would be referring to since that information is protected by HIPAA!! I was trying to reschedule to the following month because I had just got a new job. Ernesto was overly insistent that I get on the calendar this month and I was trying to schedule later in September. He told me no, and that he had to remove me from their system. He said that it was, specifically, because they cannot have the "liability of having a patient in their system without an appointment scheduled". I WAS LITERALLY TRYING TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT!! He absolutely would not schedule me for later in September and was rude and passive aggressive. This is a pattern for Ernesto!! Here is how it works. You go twice the first month. Then every month thereafter, Ernesto will send you a time one week before the appointment and if you cannot make that, he will start being blaming you for being difficult. In what world is it so difficult to schedule an appointment with a Psychiatrist. Why wouldn't there be any flexibility on scheduling; instead of it being on Ernesto's schedule only.? Additionally, and really most importantly. The staff of the facility, who are NOT DOCTORS, should have ZERO INFORMATION about my session with MY DOCTOR. Ernesto likes to talk about liability a lot and if he is somehow getting information about my personal session with my doctor, then yes, he IS liable. Also, there should be a way I can contact my doctor without you staff as a middle man!! Again, that information is only privy to me and my doctor. I should not have to email Ernesto, in order to contact my doctor. that is nuts!!!!"
"I just passed my one year mark of being a patient, and I highly recommend Aspen Leaf. I'd like to give strong praise to the administrative team, especially Ernesto. I have had several situations where I needed last-minute help that he came to the rescue. This includes a time when a pharmacy that I had been going to for a full year, refused to fill my prescription notified me several days later, late on Friday, until they spoke with someone at the office (this is an issue with pharmacies in general). And I was leaving to go out of state that night for a month. But I called and left a voicemail to Aspen Leaf. Within minutes, Ernesto had texted me and let me know he was on it. Truly, I cannot thank him enough. For my treatment, I have been working with Kelly Prado during this time. She has been very caring and thoughtful in her approach to my treatment. I have been receiving treatment for the better part of 10 years and across the country with varying degrees of success. At this time, I am at a point that makes me extremely happy."
"Confrontational staff - specifically Ernesto. I previously wrote a 1 star review about how I experienced discontinuation syndrome. Ernesto reached out to talk about it (I did not want to talk on the phone) but we emailed back and forth a bit. He was passive aggressive and made it sound like my situation was my fault because I canceled my most recent appointment. He was also very clearly unhappy because of my negative review. I canceled my appointment because it’s difficult to convince yourself to go back to a place that has previously caused you harm. Terri is a nice person but didn’t understand that I was experiencing was discontinuation syndrome and not just “side effects” from the drugs she had prescribed. The drugs she prescribed (and tried to prescribe) made all of my symptoms worse and threw my nervous system into further disarray. Maybe I could have stuck with it and things would have worked out differently, but when your doctor doesn’t seem to “get” what you’re going through, you likely wouldn’t want to keep going back either. Just know that not everyone has a positive experience here. Hopefully you will, but I did not."
"Aspen Leaf is such a great place! I know I can easily go and talk to Kelly for some good ways and vitamins to help with anxiety. Also, being able to talk to someone about things in life that don’t seem fair or how life happens is so warming to know someone is here listening to you and I did not feel alone. Thank you Aspen Leaf!"
