"Dr. Chih-Ta Lin, MD, FAANS, Neurosurgery I was referred to Dr. Lin by Premier Spine & Pain Institute. With moments of seeing my MRI, I was told I needed a four-level cervical fusion. Finally, a neurosurgeon in Denver metro area that listens, informs of options and is willing to try options before surgery. I have had neck and spine issues for 25 years. I have met with Docs at Swedish, Craig, and, Rose - there are some egos that prefer adoration rather than communication or listening. Dr. Lin listened to my reticent issues of surgery on my spine. We discussed conservative options and radical options, I choose a conservative option, a C3-4 disc replacement. I was prepared for pain and weeks in a collar; I wore a collar for 10-days; I took oxycodone for 2-days. Four months later, I am very pleased with my mobility and recovery from surgery, the scar on the front of my neck is minimal. I still have some shoulder tightness - 4 rotator cuffs being the cause. Dr. Lin noticed the tightness at a first glance. He has referred me back to the original referring group Premier Pain & Spine. PT has been helpful bot Botox is the next treatment.
