"My mother, 90 years old, had carpal tunnel surgery at the center. We met Kayla/Evelyn at the reception desk, and they were very helpful. The pre-op nurse was so patient. Ryan and Leah managed her care while Dr. Fremling operated. Lauerll helped her wake up and was very patient as it took a while for her blood pressure to go down. It was a great experience for my mom."

"What exceptional experience. If you have to have surgery, I recommend the Lafayette Surgery Center. The setting is beautiful and warm. The staff is kind, considerate, compassionate and professional. When I came in I was greeted by Evelyn. She took me through my paperwork and sensing how nervous I was, she spoke to the nurse and arranged for my mom to go back with me. My pre-op nurse Maddie was incredible. She had a warm bedside manner and listened to my concerns about having small veins. She was so quick and professional, I didn’t even feel the IV go in. At one point, I needed to use the restroom and could figure out how to get my IV bag down. Kathie appeared with a simple question, “How can I help?” My anesthesiologist, Dr. S. was incredible. She took the time to talk with about what was going to happen and reassured me she’d be with me the entire time. Finally, a shout out to Dr. F. He’s a cool character who really cares about his patients. There was a complication in my procedure. He could have cut my muscle and called it a day. Instead he too extra time and preserved my muscle so I would have a better outcome. In recovery, Abby, was so patient and helpful. She helped me get reoriented, got me water and crackers and was supportive as I worked through some nausea. This wasn’t my first surgery, but I’ll say it was my best. Thank you to the entire Lafayette Surgery Center team."
