"Horrible experience. Extremely unprofessional. Today, I was scheduled for an appointment at 2:15 PM. They send an email saying that I must arrive 15 minutes prior to my appointment time. I arrived around 1:55 PM and checked in. Since I already did my paperwork prior to the appointment time I only had one quick piece of paper to fill out just rating my pain from one to ten. As I’m sitting in the waiting room, I can hear the ladies at the front desk, whispering about a coworker, who stepped out to take a phone call. The obvious coworker returns back into the building and it’s obvious that she’s been crying. The women at the front desk continue to talk about her after she leaves the room again. at 2:25 PM, 10 minutes past my actual appointment time and about 30 minutes past the time I arrived, I asked what is going on. I was told that the patient before Me showed up 15 minutes late and now my appointment will be 15 minutes later than expected. so no big deal right? It’s already 10 minutes into my appointment time so I only have five more minutes left to wait. Time just keeps going by the 15 minutes is coming gone it’s now 2:40 PM 45 minutes past the time I arrived. I’m now told by the girl at the front desk that she can take me into a room I go into a room and sit there , no one‘s coming in. At 2:52 PM and walk back to the front desk and ask them what is going on. I’m now I’ve been here almost an hour and haven’t seen a doctor yet. I’m told to wait there and they will check on the doctor. Woman from the front desk goes back goes back to a room And then comes back over to me with Doctor following behind her holding a laptop. The woman says to me the doctor can now see you or you can reschedule. It’s up to you. I drove about an hour to go to this appointment have about an hour drive home . There’s no way that I’m rescheduling to come back to unprofessional place. Not to mention they have signs all over the front desk talking about a $50 fee if you know show their appointment or if you’re more than 10 minutes late to your appointment, you will have to reschedule. Don’t waste your time on this unprofessional, dirty, dusty place."
"This is the best clinic I've ever been to for any health issue. The staff is incredible! Patient, kind, expedient and efficient. Dr. Reitz is is amazing, her knowledge and ability to treat my concussion was outstanding. Hannah helped me to get back on track cognitively and Dr. Palmer's is well worth the cost. Haley was blessed by the healing saints. There was a time that I was in so much pain from an injured spot in my trapezius, whiplash from a car accident, and I hadn't been able to move in five days. I forced myself to roll off my bed to make it to my appointment with Haley. I missed my PT time because I had been struggling with dates and times since the car accident. I was so upset, I left the office and I cried outside before I went back inside to cancel the three other appointments I had that day, because I couldn't sit or move. I don't know if these fantastic human beings sensed my frustration, but as I opened my mouth, a staff member said "Rachael, we can squeeze you in right now, if that works." In my head I was like, yes, you sweet angel. Within five minutes, I was dry needled and moving, baby. This was the last time I saw the team. Unfortunately, the car insurance for the car I was hit by doesn't have enough coverage for me to continue any treatment. But, I still do my exercises that this clinic taught me and I am getting better. If you wind up with a horror that is a head injury, this is the best place with the best people who will get you better. Thank you for reading this very long review."
"This review is for how the clinic treats patients as humans and operates, not for clinical care. Clinics which specialize in post-concussion patients should provide above-average communication. Not only does the clinic provide nothing (zero confirmation texts, calls, or emails), they had me down for the wrong appointment time. When I showed up 15 minutes “late,” they refused to fit me in and were rude. Obviously snarky comments about how they would be happy to opt me in to communications, and might squeeze an appointment in next month, are unhelpful. Had they done any pre-appointment communication, this could have been avoided or at least mitigated. Kindness also goes a long way. I’ve heard they provide good clinical care. If there administrative care is any indication, it isn’t coming from a place of compassion. Hopefully this isn’t how they treat people throughout the healing process - with aloof disregard."
"I am so grateful to my team at the Colorado Concussion Clinic; specifically my Concussion Doctor, Dr. Reitz, my Cognitive Therapist, Mari Gottlieb and my Physical Therapist, Jessica Bandelier. Throughout my five month journey, they were compassionate, encouraging, always listened attentively, answered all my questions and pushed me to persevere no matter what. Their relentless dedication to my well being and recovery made me feel like they weren't only my A-team group of docs but also like they were part of my extended family. I highly recommend this clinic and this amazing group of women, which I don't know where I'd be, if it wasn't for them!"
"The process of regaining mental strength after sustaining a concussion from a car accident was made much easier and far more effective with the expert guidance of Hilary Booco. Recovery is a difficult process and can feel like a lot, especially when you are not feeling like yourself. With the help i received, I never once felt rushed or pressure, the pace always felt just right, and help was always an email away. The range of resources and techniques that we went over have left me with lessons that continue to grow outside of the sessions, and beyond being dismissed from the help. I am so very grateful to have had this crucial positive experience in a trying time, and i have to say the knowledge I have gained here to be timeless and versatile."
