"My 10 year old son started karate here in August and he has learned so much! His confidence has grown as well! It's extremely affordable and no contract is required! The instructors are professional, highly trained and know how to work with kids. They also have classes for adults! We love this program!"
"Heif's Kenpo Karate & Kickboxing is a great family oriented place (for children, teens and adults) to learn traditional Kenpo techniques, self discipline and respect for others. Training is two nights per week, one night of techniques and one night of sparring. On sparring nights you get to use what you've learned in a controlled fighting manner. Sifu Ryan and his wife Traci are fun and energetic. They are great at explaining the techniques and making sure you understand where they would apply. If interested, you are able to learn to use, and defend yourself against weapons (such as: Sai's, and Escrima Sticks). You are encouraged to practice what you've learned at home, on your own time, to earn additional patches to put on your gee. You are able to travel to and compete in tournaments with your teammates and use what you've learned against others with different martial arts styles. Tournaments are a great way to meet people in other states and build camaraderie, not just with people within your dojo , but other dojo's as well. It is a wonderful place to explore your fighting style, gain confidence in yourself and get a good workout! My son and I look forward to learning with our Kenpo family every week."
