"These folks had the gall to ask for an extra hundred dollar deposit, which when added to the 75 dollar room fee adds up to the price of an actually nice hotel. The guy at the front is as hostile as he is ugly (read, very). Bedbugs, urine stains in the bathroom, holes in the walls, this place is a DUMP. You'd be better off just sleeping in your car."

"Booked a room under the directions to pay a refundable $70 fee. I ended up paying $85.00. It has been exactly 66 days since our visit. I still have not received my Deposit refund. I was told that I would receive it within 4-5 business days.. Might not seem like much to others but keeping customers money, especially a single mother... That's bad for business. I wouldn't stay here if they are comfortable keeping money from honest hard working people..."

"Sure it's ran like a tight ship. New parking lot. But nothing renovated on the inside. There were holes in the wall and door to bathroom. But here's the thing that's my biggest concern & quite frankly why I will suggest not to do business with them.. I have yet to receive my refund on an $85.00 Deposit!! There was no reason to keep it. The manager even told me it would take up to 3 or more days it's July 17th 2022 we stayed May 2022. Don't get ripped off."

"Terrible customer service. My mom went in to get us a room since their parking lot was empty and it was late and the Grand Vista where we usually stay looked full. The guy at the counter was so rude and tried to charge us $150 for one night. He quickly asked My mom if we had dogs which we didn't but just seemed overall hostile. After reading all the other reviews and from our experience, I now know why they had no customers in their parking lot. We ended up going to the Grand vista and even though they were full and a much nicer hotel with an elevator and better amenities, they were still able to get us a room for $75. Definitely will never attempt to give them my business again."

"My wife and I were moving cross country and stayed at the Horizon Inn on our way to California from Michigan. The owner's family was incredibly kind and welcoming upon our arrival. Check-In/Check-Out process was seamless. They were also very accommodating of our dog. The room was clean, and the bedding was very comfortable. My wife and I were overwhelmed by the kindness from the owners and we would absolutely stay there again! Excellent location right off of I-70 and near the Grand Junction Airport."
