"Thank you Dr. Vall and team, for providing excellent care and support. Your patience, compassion and understanding is so appreciated. After an extremely traumatic experience and betrayal at a major Denver Animal Hospital three years ago, going to vets is most difficult. Your personalized anesthesia protocol, patient management and monitoring by your team yesterday gave us peace, knowing our dog was in the best hands. By letting me spend the day in your exam room close by, while our dog had surgery, your staff continuously updated me, explained the procedure and answered all my questions. Their kindness was vital and most valuable. You helped us regain trust that was shattered three years ago in Denver, having caused lasting trauma. Thank you Dr. Vall, Dr. Kennedy, Emily, Lorena and Madison, for taking the time and consideration in our situation to provide such great care and service for our dog, and for your commitment to excellence. Thank you."
"My 2 year old husky had severely fractured her upper Canine and they were able to get me an appointment nearly right away. Upon arrival for the consult I was greeted with the most friendly, caring vet techs and staff. The doctor was very informative and offered multiple options for the course of treatment. We scheduled her surgery for the very next morning. Once again upon arrival I was greeted with friendly and caring faces. I had many concerns and worries which I expressed and I was completely reassured everything was going to be ok. Throughout the entire procedure I was constantly updated on every single step. Everyone made me feel very comfortable and confident on the procedure moving forward. It was by far the greatest experience for something that was so horrible. my sweet girl is my world and they treated us like family. My husky under went the procedure in about 2 hours and came out perfectly fine. Not a single issue. If you love your pet this is the only place to take them for any dental work. the doctors and staff give 110% across the board. Thank you guys so much for helping my fur baby! I am extremely grateful for all of you. Mishka says thanks for making sure she can keep her pretty smile."
"LESSON LEARNED - ASK ABOUT THE RISKS AND SAY NO IF IT IS ABSOLUTELY NOT NECESSARY. I will be sending a letter to the clinic myself. But I will say, ABSOLUTELY ASK ABOUT RISKS. I did not (and I usually do as he had a major surgery at SCVIM next door 12 years ago) and I was not told (I looked at my paperwork for that release you sign and I do not have it) and now my 161/2 year old Vasco has Vestibular Syndrome and spins in circles (now almost 8 months) unless he’s laying down, I am holding him, he is eating, he can at least clean his face sometimes, maybe he’s spun enough distance to his litter box (I’ve now added another one to our space for him). Once a day he may find peace from the spin and sit and look out the window. I will NEVER again make this mistake with any of my animals. While we were provided with care, I am absolutely guilt ridden for not asking as I would have told them DO NOT disturb his root system, just take the 1 tooth that was bad. His vestibular nerve was disturbed in surgery, of which he was under over an hour. So, I will accept some responsibility for not being a good pet parent and asking the right questions, but they DID NOT advise me of any risks except for risks with anesthesia. My Vasco is a super healthy 16 year old and his blood work is always in line and still is - I just had it drawn last week to check before we start e-stim and acupuncture therapy to try and see if we can regenerate his nerve or at leas help in some way. Vasco’s quality of life is dismissed right now and I fear also his lifespan. All my cats have lived well into their 20’s. So, do your heart and pet a favor, get ONLY the care that is absolutely necessary, allow time to heal from that and revisit if more care is needed. The risk is not worth it, trust me."
