"Very good and thorough information. Definitely helped prepare you for the role, even just in the 8 week online course. Instructors are all VERY passionate, both about the field and helping students, and are very knowledgeable. The google meet class meetings for the 8 week online course were not set up the best in my opinion. It seemed like the instructors were required to cover all of the slides for that week, and if they wanted to give any advice/stories on how to get a job or do the job, it made class run way longer, and being an east coast person meant staying up to 10/11pm for it. I would say prioritize the latter over the slides. We can self study that info and just ask questions as needed during class. Also, go into it with the mindset that you are 110% responsible for finding your own job. Yes, the instructors and career staff will help you, and zerofee will get you at least a few calls (although, not all will be good opportunities). In all honesty, the places I applied to that were “looking to hire MSC grads” like Conmed literally didn’t even respond to my application, even after messaging the recruiters as well, and I was the MVP of my class. Also, more often than not, having “medical sales college” on my resume didn’t really win the amount of “points” I thought it would. In fact, some hiring managers or reps I interviewed with actually told me they weren’t fans of previous MSC hires. Essentially, go here to learn the info and about the industry, but don’t expect them to carry you into a job, or even an interview. Be ready with your “why” and what makes you the right person, and just lean into that."

"Instructors are very knowledgeable and were great to work with; I am hopeful to keep in touch with them. Program was challenging start to finish and the pace was reflective of the industrial expectations. My only concern would be to explain to candidates before going through the program the career development aspect and potential challenges one could expect when in the interview process."
