"My daughter went here. If you are looking for a very rounded education in music for your child, look no farther. They teach not only an instrument, but the theory behind music itself so that kids can really branch out into whichever instrument interests them the most after they leave. The primary focus is of course the piano, but they touch on rhythm instruments, recorder, and the guitar in some of the more advanced classes. They teach the kids how to read sheet music on the grand staff, both treble and bass clef including Ledger's above and below both. They teach major and minor scales, and how to form chords from them instead of simply memorizing chords. They also teach dynamics. There's also a big focus on hearing intervals and notes by ear, so it's a great stepping stone for a child who wants to sing as well. All in all I couldn't be happier with this place and the education they provided for my daughter. Very highly recommended. And as an added bonus, they encourage parent participation with their child through the learning process, so if you want to you can learn a thing or two about music as well!"
