"I want to comment on Victoria in the echo lab for her professionalism and kindness. She was very thorough but still personable and cheerful throughout the whole experience. We must have asked a million questions, but she NEVER made us feel we were bothering her. I was there for possible heart problems, but she let us joke with her to keep our spirits up. You may need to clone her .... Thank you Victoria, for helping us have a good time during a scary day."
"edit december/20/2023: they listened to my review and fixed the waterfountains, I also haven't seen the ramps blocked. The bathrooms still aren't perfectly maintained, but I'm no longer finding clogged or dirty toilets every week. They don't have modern wheelchair accessible sidewalks yet, but that is a much larger project. A lot of the doors are still very heavy, but most of the time the areas I go I am not having an emergency. Heavy doors are sad in a hospital, and unforgivable in emergency areas. Their emergency areas seem accessible, thankfully I haven't had to try their emergency section yet. original review it's usually clean and the doctors are nice, the restrooms need to be looked after more and the waterfountains barely work. the campus is inaccessible. There are heavy doors that are hard to open, the ramps are few and far between, and trucks like amazon and blood banks feel its totally okay to block one of the only ramps and PARK there leaving an unattended vehicle. This is within 50ft of the parking lot and valet, no less, they insist on blocking the ramp instead. Someone kind helped me over the curb, but otherwise I would have missed my appointment. There is no clear number to call for help at the hospital, and I had to sit between two large trucks in a nominally pedestrian area until someome came by. I am fairly sure leaving unattended trucks there is illegal, but no clear number to call to get them moved or towed or given a talking to. This would be a non issue if the hospital had more ramps. They have several crossways with no ramps. I have attached a picture, This truck has been blocking the ramp for at least an hour and a half, that is only the time I have been here. This blood bank believes their convenience is more important than accessibility. The building behind the truck in the picture is the valet station, and less than 20ft behind the truck is the parking lot. The nearest ramp other than the blocked one is 100ft away. I am disabled and cannot walk 5ft without wheeled assistence. Jumping curbs injures me on days like these, I've tried it I promise. It would be ironic if a hospital was inaccessible and trying to get inside for a routine appointment resulted in injury, right? Normally my doctor gets the door and is kind enough to get me water, but that is not the doctors job. the inaccessible facilities prevent the doctor from being able to do their job to the best of their ability."
"My original review I left give stars, unknown to the fact these nurses that where supposed to be documenting my visit there, they failed to comply with patient rights by not including viable information from my visit such as I was unable to lift my left leg post surgery. I did fine in physical therapy but never started that this was the best I've ever felt considering Is having a never issue with my left leg. If I felt the best I've ever felt then why would I not walk out of the hospital interested of being wheeled out in a wheelchair. My advise to all no matter where or what hospital is treating you ask all for them to show you all medical notes before signing discharge papers for they might not be doing their jobs properly cause their to busy socializing with co workers. Documenting key points in your health is supposed to be their priority but Aurora Medical Failed Me don't let them fail you"
