"Burberry silk tie turned in for water stain, this is what was returned; tie was one month old and worn once. GEC's recourse was to allow their seamstress an attempt at repair. After seeing their handling of the tie initially? Wasn't comfortable with that. While we disagreed on what appropriate recourse was, GEC went unprofessional when owner/manager? tried telling me my tie was old with stains and they did what they could. This is after they initially tried minimizing the extent of damage, called it "common," and something easily repairable. Sorry, but the tie was ruined. Thankfully a professional company (Burberry) saw the tie was weeks old and made the situation right. In their opinion, the damage was most definitely caused by GEC's dry-cleaning process and they had never seen anything like that before. Will give credit where credit is due, GEC's front of house staff was professional and courteous."
