Reviews
"I went up to Lake City dumbly not planning for 9000 ft elevation and got a whopping case of altitude sickness. The staff were all WONDERFUL. I walked in without an appointment, they took me right in, all took great care of me, sent me back to the inn with equipment I needed to recover. Billing was a breeze. Probably the best medical experience I've had in a long long time."
"Very caring staff! We were on vacation and my son had an accident after hours and they met us there! Took very good care of us!"
"Excellent staff, best in the county!"
"Totally incompetent treatment provided by Sherri Hussman and the entire staff on duty on Saturday, April 30. I was visiting Lake City and developed altitude sickness. I spent more than 2 hours at the clinic and received no effective care; improperly inserted IV, no patient monitoring, completely unacceptable care. Now today, I receive a bill showing the medical center had the audacity to charge my insurance and send me a bill for further payment. Outrageous!"
"My son had a nosebleed that wouldn't stop, partly due to altitude but mostly because of the dry air since we are used to Texas humidity, well as much as one can be :) . The doctor on call was able to stop it and do a preventive treatment to keep it from coming back. However, the office didn't bill our insurance correctly, and is still sending us bills for the full amount almost a year later even though we explained we are covered several times."
