"My family has been bringing our pets here for almost 15 years. I started bringing my dog after I adopted him in 2022. Everyone was really nice and I felt like his needs were taken care of. Over the past couple of months, I have noticed a serious decline in service. The vet techs are very short and can be rude, they don't have consistent pricing for anything, and prioritize one concern you have with your pet over everything else. My dog was diagnosed with diabetes in Feb by a specialist. They wanted me to follow up with his primary to go over management and care for his issues. Ever since then, they have been wasting my time and money. I go in for appointments where they tell me they can't do anything unless he's there for a glucose curve. I send him in for the glucose curve and they told me after I got there that they needed his insulin and food. I had to drive back home to get that and bring it back. They never notified me of this when they called, emailed, and texted me to confirm his appointment. After his curve, they upped his dose from 1 unit to 2. The increase in his insulin caused him to be extremely ill. I called them to see if I needed to bring him in and the vet tech said they could schedule us for an appointment, but didn't give me actual answers on what to do for that, so I ended up taking him to the ER. When we went to his second curve, they said his glucose dropped too much, so they were decreasing his dose. I asked if that's why he was sick and they said it probably was. Ever since the increase in his insulin, he hasn't been the same. I took him to a different vet clinic and they had a much better plan on how to approach these issues, said they found issues with his kidneys and possible arthritis in the records they got from Banfield (which I was never notified of) and have a better attitude towards his issues. Banfield's pricing is never consistent and they make you pay monthly for a plan that doesn't cover anything. His first curve was $150, the second being $250. The plan is supposed to cover teeth cleanings, but I always have to pay $150-$400 extra when picking him up. I've had to pay extra for his vaccines as well. They make you sign up for these plans before you are able to be seen by their providers. I end up paying ~$1200.00 a year for sub-par service and am dreading how much they will want when I call to cancel the plan."

"Don't bring your pets here and DO NOT accept their wellness plan! It's a complete scam that they will present as if it is a monthly subscription, when in reality its an ANNUAL subscription in which the only way you can close you're account is to pay the entire rest of the year off. On top of all this, my dog returned to me sheepish and frightful, something I'd never seen in her as she is very loved and never hit or slapped. She began having behavior issues shortly after, (a fully trained, well behave dog) which I learned can be a sign of stress. I fully believe these people may be too rough or aggressive with the animals. Don't take your pet there. I'm never going again."
"DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE! THEIR WELLNESS PLAN IS A SCAM! After taking them to a vet surgery, she started peeing around the house, acting stressed and flinching when trying to pet them. I'm convinced they did not handle her well. They hurt my animal and attempted to charge $700 to cancel their subscription to the optimum wellness plan. A scam and cruel to their helpless patients. Also- they are being supported by fake reviews."
"Been taking my german shepard here over 1.5 yrs. to get his acupuncture, hip shot, & allergy shot. I have had him on the highest plan since we got him @ 5yrs. old. They do a great job and are accommodating for other items that you might have forgotten to ask for. My boy can't use his hind legs anymore & now using a wheelchair that they recommended. If I had more time I would have built one. This one was pricey but well worth having my boy comfortable when trying to get around."
