"Greedy “pastor” Philip Reimers doesn’t follow protocol or safety precautions. When was the last time there was a state inspection? Beware current admin and staff. They’re not the owners or founders of Evergreen Academy and have tarnished the founder’s family’s name."
"I love the care our children receive at Evergreen Academy. I'm continually amazed at the leaps our girls make. Much of this is due to the guidance of the teachers and staff. Already, our recently turned three-year old is identifying letters and numbers easily and our recently turned 18-month is learning self-restraint and the benefits of friendships. Couple these learning milestones with the fact that the kids are outside as much as possible and you have a happy mama right here."
"We experienced various safety issues while attending EA. The staff to student ratio was out of compliance with state rules and regulations, which a complaint was founded by the state in 2015. Most mornings at drop-off, only one EA staff member was present in the building with 10-13 kids of various ages; 2-3 infants in the mix. Student/Staff ratios and other safety concerns such as placing infants to sleep on their stomachs, reusing the same bottle several times during the day, and babies sleeping on unsupported pillows on the floor, were brought to the attention of the director/owner, who became defensive & dishonest after we voiced our concerns. We talked to parents before attending EA, 2 of which ended up leaving within 2 months after we started there. Finding a safe, affordable, and stable learning environment is certainly stressful. The state provides licensing standards and now makes reported complaints and violations available to parents on their website: search for Colorado childcare facility search"
"We moved to Colorado three years ago and could not have experienced a more profoundly satisfying relationship built with those who we have chosen to care for our children at Evergreen Academy. As a parent, we all want the best environment for our children to grow and thrive; we could not be more proud of who our children are becoming under the quality care and thoughtful curriculum developed from infant to pre-kindergarten at Evergreen Academy. We moved here with one three year old, and have since subsequently enrolled two other children beginning at infant into Evergreen Academy. Any relationship between parent and caregiver/educator is one of open communication and thoughtful dialogue, of which I have found the staff and Director at Evergreen Academy to be amenable and responsible. Based upon our experience, and the joy of learning and friendships my children have developed in this environment, I have highly recommended Evergreen Academy to other parents who have enrolled their children and reflect the same degree of appreciation and mutual respect. I highly recommend Evergreen Academy to you and your family."
"The toddler and preschool teachers are fantastic and some of the most patient people I have ever met. They have to be in order to put up with their director on a regular basis. I have never met someone so conceited, controlling, and condescending in a childcare environment. I could list all of the ways I have been offended but I feel it's best to just warn other parents. If you can avoid having to deal with her, I would recommend the school. However, she feels it is her place to involve herself in places she clearly should not be so interaction is unavoidable. It's obvious why enrollment is so low. They have even more space available now since I pulled my little one."
