"Our son has been at Church Ranch KinderCare since he was 4.5 months old and our family has had a really wonderful experience there. We have loved working with all the staff and teachers. They have all made our first experience with daycare go really smoothly. Would recommend Church Ranch KinderCare to anyone who is looking for childcare in the Westminster area!"
"Started our twin boys here around 4 months old. Things were hectic at first as the center came under new management but Cherish has been great. She builds in weekly events, keeps parents updated and leaves out treats for the dads! Ms. Nas from infant care has also been amazing! Along with Seleen, we love them both! Sometimes clothes get mixed up but that’s understandable when dealing with so many infants. The only real frustration I have is that you pay for a 5-day week in advance. If the center is closed for a holiday, a teacher education and training day, shut down for weather or understaffed because too many teachers are sick, you can’t bring your children in. You still have to pay for the five days. I don’t know if this is typical for all daycare centers or not. But it can be incredibly frustrating with daycare being so expensive, and then having to take PTO in addition to paying the weekly fees when they are closed…especially with two boys enrolled. It’s important to note that this is KinderCare corporate policy, not a decision that’s made at the center level, so it wouldn’t be fair to blame this location itself."
"I placed my child on the wait list in April and paid the refundable fee. The date of when there would be an opening kept changing which I understood. However I started to receive bills and late payment notices throughout July and August. I made numerous calls to the site to explain my child has never set foot in the school. The director couldn’t fix the problem because it had now gone to collections. I then called the district manager three times and never received a return call. I made a formal complaint to the regional manager and still no response. I feel they are incompetent and unresponsive and I would not trust them to care for my child or any child."
"We love KinderCare on Church Ranch. They have welcomed our baby with open arms and love her like their own. As a first time mom, it's hard to let someone else care for your child but I wholeheartedly trust the staff. Our daughter's face lights up when she sees the staff and we get updates throughout the day. The new director (Claire) is amazing. So kind and on top of it. We'd recommend this center to everyone!"
"Unprofessional, unsafe, and not worth your time. We toured several places for our infant, and were lucky to get a slot at CR Kindercare, but it was later on that problems started to occur. In May we were told our start date and registered for enrollment. In late June I called the facility to confirm the date and make sure everything was in order. Multiple emails went unanswered. When I called I was informed that the center director had left, and the current director had no knowledge of my LO. We went back and forth for weeks before I was finally able to confirm the start date. On the start date.... I was told I would be able to drop her off at anytime after 7am, and that the director would meet with us to confirm we had all her materials. We arrived at 8am... 1. A child walking past the door opened it and told us (STRANGERS) we could come in. When we asked for the director we were told she wasn't there. We asked for an adult. Ten minutes later the child came back and said that no adult could come to the door, but to just come in. Again, we are strangers. 2. Finally an adult did come to the door. They were visibly sick, and said they were feeling 'under the weather', but were wiping at their nose and coughing during our entire interaction. 3. When walked to the infant room, we were greeted by the ONE caregiver. There were five babies in the room, and two more walked in while we were standing there. All five babies were crying. I totally understand that babies cry, I totally understand that a single caregiver may not be able to attend to them immediately - BUT the caregiver seemed unaffected and unfazed but the crying. It made us feel as though babies are just left to cry during the days. 4. To top it all off, after months of back and forth, countless phone calls, multiple facility visits.... We weren't in the system. We will absolutely not be sending our LO there."
