"Waited for almost an hour and still had not seen Dr. Jiwani. She no longer sees patients on Monday so against my better judgement I went today a Tuesday. I will be finding another doctor."
"I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt despite all the negative reviews however I see now that was a mistake. I scheduled with them yesterday to be seen today (2/1/24) at 7:30 and at 7:13 they sent me a text cancelling my appointment when I had already ordered an Uber to take me to this appointment. This is unacceptable. At every doctor’s office I’ve ever went to there’s been a cancellation fee for less than a 24 hour notice, how come they’re able to do this to patients?"
"Sometimes I wish Google would allow 0 stars or even negatives but I guess putting a 1 star will suffice. I would like to preface by saying that I work at a medical facility, so I know what it’s like to not only be an employee but a patient/visitor. Fortunately, this visit wasn’t for me but for unfortunately for my mom. The only people that deserve a praise is the front desk and the MA that took vitals for my mom during the appointment, very nice and had a smile on their faces. Let’s start with her Doctor, Dr. Mauricio. The appointment was at 2 pm, and my mom wasn’t seen until 2:30 by him. Bad note already. Then, as she is talking to him, he proceeds to interrupt her and answer his phone. Another bad note. If you have a patient that is scheduled for THEIR time, you don’t answer a call for another. And you don’t take half hour to see them, to only spend a mediocre 5 minutes with a patient, dismissing what they are trying to say. Again, coming from an employee at another medical facility, we treat our patients with respect and valuing their time. Patients are the reasons why you can bill their insurances to make your money, so keep that in mind. Now to the Blood draws and the MA’s. Again, coming from a medical facility that also sees high volume patient flow, we greet every patient with a smile on our faces. Dr. Mauricio walks up to the MA for my mom to get her blood drawn. She proceeds to snap at him and tell him that they’re backed up. Not a problem with us, we don’t mind the wait. She didn’t give me a second to reply before she snaps back with “and I don’t speak Spanish”. I didn’t know you had to speak Spanish to draw blood?? That’s a first. And to also dismiss a provider with that attitude? Uncalled for. We then went back the following day for the blood draw. The first MA gets my mom prepped, notices the arm rest is too big, touches the metal part of the arm rest to fix it with the same gloves, and proceeds to get a needle to insert on my mom’s arm, WITH THE SAME GLOVES. She inserts the needle, and can’t find the vein. She gets the other MA who then keeps prodding and moving the needle, and also can’t find the vein. Two MA’s and not one of them could find it? I decided to make the call and to stop them before they made my mom’s bruising worse. As we leave, the MA advises that “she just needs to drink more water”. My mom is a camel that drinks water every second of the day, she is clearly not the issue. A patient nearby heard my mom and I and mentioned that this was not the first time she has also had terrible MA’s that have hurt her while doing a blood draw. I understand new grads having a hard time, but it shouldn’t take more than one MA to get this done correctly, and then to also fail for that matter. Based on the other reviews, it seems like this facility has gone downhill. I advise anyone to get proper research with finding a clinic."
"There has been multiple times where I have waited an hour for tele-health appointments, massive miscommunication between doctors & front desk. High advise avoiding. Never received phone calls that should have been made by front desk. Avoid avoid avoid. These 1 star reviews are experiences you should save yourself from."
"Service has really gone downhill lately. Even though I made an appointment, I did not get to see my primary care, but saw a nurse practitioner instead. Had to wait over an hour just to get my blood drawn on my last visit. It has been over a week and I still don’t have the results even though I have called twice requesting them. I guess it’s time to start looking for a new primary care physician."
