Health Images at Longmont

"Hopefully this is the women’s imaging on Tulip. Rebecca and Dr Gutierrez were awesome!!!! I feel the front desk lady standing in front has a resting jerk face! I have never but one time seen her smile! I came into the facility already anxious and nervous. I asked for a work note in which I was actually seen today, but came Friday and spent about a good hour but with issues had to be rescheduled. I asked for the two days and she was so empathetic. Very Disappointing when you’re in healthcare! Smile be kind you have no idea how mentally exhausting it is to have to be here as it is!!!"

"When I arrived for my visit, the girl at the front desk provided me with an estimate of the bill. She then asked if I wanted to pay some of that now. I said "No, thank you" (I pay medical bills with my HSA but needed to load money onto it - not that it's any of her business). She actually sneered at me which was so shocking and I replied, "Is it required that I pay some now?" She said, "We'd really appreciate it". I told her I would pay after my insurance processed the bill. Her entire attitude changed when I refused. What's the problem? I had no co-pay, co-insurance or deductible due. If you want patients to pay at the time of service, make it a requirement. Otherwise, be kind. Most patients would prefer to receive a bill and pay the balance after health insurance has paid/adjusted appropriately. I had to return to the clinic a week later for additional images that should have been completed during my first visit. I would have been upset if I had already paid for a service that wasn't done properly. The tech was amazing, but I won't be returning."

"It almost seemed like they tried to take advantage of me by not letting me know ahead of time that insurance doesn’t pay for additional imaging. They only told me when I came into the office that I have to pay over $900 out of the pocket. So if insurance thinks you should be able to do all the imaging in one visit, maybe you should actually try doing it, instead of making additional money on people worried about their health and well being."

"I visited health images today for an MRI of my knee. The location was very easy to find and up close parking was readily available. There are also a significant number of handicap parking spots near the door. The office has an exterior door to the left of the main door of the building or you can go through the main door and then turn left into the hallway. It's very easy to find suite 155 and it's clearly marked The lobby is comfortable with magazines and a TV to keep you entertained. The staff greeted me warmly as soon as I walked in and registered me efficiently. I arrived early for my appointment, as instructed, and was seen a little before my scheduled time. The MRI staff was also kind and checked in with me regularly to make sure I was feeling comfortable. I was offered music and a blanket to make sure the experience would be as easy as possible. I had not used this facility before but will definitely consider it for any imaging needs in the future. As the staff was friendly, the facility was easy to find and everything ran like clockwork."
