"I do not recommend taking your animals here. I moved from the Kipling location and established care for my dog at this location. Everyone was very nice and friendly. I signed my dog up for the wellness plan which included an exam, bloodwork, etc. I knew coming into this appointment that my dog had very bad bilateral ear infections. I wasn’t clear who the tech was or who the vet was as no one introduced themselves. The exam wasn’t done in front of me but they brought him back and gave him a clean bill of health, aside from a liver elevation as shown on the blood work. They made no mention of his raging ear infections.. so I am fairly confident that an exam was not done. I mentioned his ears and was then prescribed medications after they took a sample to see if it was yeast vs bacteria. I do not trust anything that they did (or didn’t do) and will not be returning. I now have to establish care elsewhere because if they missed a simple ear infection, who knows what else was missed. Very saddened by this experience."
"If I could give this place a 0 I would (except for how the vet interacts with my cat. She obviously cares). My experience at this location has always come with a “we called you about this change … or so we should have” . Walked in on time for my 11:15 appointment in person with the vet. I was told at 11:40 that my doctor was scheduled for surgery today. No call. My cat is 15 years old and has a lung condition that caused her lung to collapse when she was 7. She recovered and for many years was fine, and is now quickly declining. She has asthma attacks frequently and the assistant asked me to allow her to wait for up to 5 hours to be seen by the vet. She needs an emergency inhaler and I asked if they would provide that for her. The answer was no and that I would have to pay out of pocket for the inhaler and the service to administer it ($200-$300 based on previous experience). I became clearly angry and Daniel said here’s my card, please give me a personal call so I can set your appointment for you. I looked at the card and it’s the number of the front desk, not a personal number. AND THEY WONT WRITE THE PRESCRIPTION BECAUSE SHE HASNT BEEN SEEN. So 1. They let me sit for 25 minutes knowing the vet was in surgery. 2. They made my elderly sick cat go through the stress of being in a car and waiting 25 minutes in a lobby with other animals. 3. They gave me a fake reassurance they would help me going forward. 4. I took time off from work for this 5. Above all- You were going to allow my cat to sit back there and not treat a severe asthma attack while she’s in your care at the VET?? What would giving an inhaler have costed that couldn’t be covered due to how severely I was disregarded the entire time I was there?? - amoral and unethical. Disgusting."
"I have taken my dog's to this Banfield location for about 20 years. The care for my first two dogs was pretty great until my 2nd girl passed. I got a new dog 9 months ago and signed on to OWP. My new dog was very sick first 7 months. We were at the vet once or twice a month at least. It took forever to get her well. I don't know if this had to do with the care she received there. BUT you no longer get to speak to a vet in person! It's always a vet tech! I do not even know if a vet actually looked at her!"
"I will be finding a new vet. Have been a Banfield client for 10+ years with multiple pets. Always had great treatment until this location. My dog needed a refill for heartworm meds so I called to get an appt; they informed me she also needed some vaccine boosters, too. We came in, all fine, until we checked out when I asked for her medication. They said they did all the other things but not the heartworm test & could no longer do it at the end of the day. We had to schedule a second appointment - which is a huge inconvenience & cost with my work. When we came back for the heartworm test they charged me a second office visit for $69. When I questioned it they had nothing but policies to quote - no apology. Sad to see a company I have been loyal to become a part of the past. Oh well, there are lots of vets around here with better reviews & referrals."
"I have several dogs, a couple go here and a couple go elsewhere. Quality and customer service seem to be going downhill at this location, not to mention they nickel and dime you for everything. 3 of my dogs have had kennel cough/pneumonia in the last 2 months. Banfield charged me $79 for antibiotics (with my OWP discount), while my other vet charged me $23 for the EXACT same medication and dose. I will not be renewing my wellness plans"
