"The Barbershop is located on the north side of the Colorado Mills Mall near the interior entrance to Target. My experience at AZ's is not extensive, but I've also spent a lot of time getting fades every week during my 10/+ years in the military and can spot a good barbershop when I see one. This is a good one. On a weekend day, their waiting area was full, but they quickly took my information and had me in a barber's chair within ten minutes. All SEVEN of their barbers were doling out a variety of fades and unique cuts that went down to the skin - and they all looked great. The barbers use a combination of clippers and scissors in almost all cases and have reliable compressed air to keep everything clean as they cut. Throw in some comfortable chairs and European cup soccer on TV, all delivered at a fair price ($25 for a standard cut) and you have a winner."

"Recently moved to Lakewood and having the right barber is important to me. I've had a few different barbers from this place and they all did very well. Their prices are a steal for the quality cut you receive and cheaper than many other places I've seen. I don't speak Spanish but other barbers are more than happy to translate if needed and they will give you exactly what you are looking for. They also put in the time and effort into each cut and don't just rush through. I highly recommend them. I did a #2 which is very short so there is no need for a guard and a high skin fade on the sides. It was faded perfectly."

"I guess if you speak Spanish this place would work for ya. Unfortunately, I don't. Tried to tell my barber to use a #2 and blend it. Next thing I know, he's got the clippers with no guard and worked his way to a #2 near the top of my head. Now I have a Marine high and tight look. Good thing for hats. Guess I'll be wearing one for the next 6 weeks...lol. Nope, not going back. I'll go somewhere where I can communicate with the person cutting my hair."
