"The best kept bike/ski/run/outdoor shop secret in town. This place is tucked away in the shopping center on the North/West corner of 31st & Colorado. Easy to miss if you don’t know where it is. But goodness, is it worth the hunt. Mountain bike shop with boutique brands for sale and demo/rental. Ski and snowboard shop. Running and hiking gear. Outdoor clothing. And a staff that knows the area and will point you in the right direction for your next adventure. No need to visit REI, Scheels or some other big box store. This shop is locally owned. Buy year gear where you’ll get it serviced and support a local shop at the same time. And check out the sale rack. Lots of bargains on last seasons gear."
"Sometimes it's hard to choose a bike shop when you have so many options. Not only did Routes have exactly what I needed for getting my bike set up (at the trailhead), but I found a pair of Lems trail running shoes that I couldn't get anywhere else. Very impressed with this shop and will be going back more. When you're this good, supporting a local business becomes easy! Well done. Great products and staff."
"The absolute best place in the springs to rent a bike! Nick at the shop was very helpful getting me set up with a gravel bike for my work trip to Colorado Springs. He gave me tips on where to ride and what kind of gear to bring. He was very communicative and accommodating in answering my questions and getting the bike set up the exact way I wanted it. If I’m ever back in town I will definitely be coming here to rent another bike. If you’re going to be in the area and are looking for some good gravel routes I recommend checking out Gold Camp loop and Rampart Ridge."
"Exceptional customer service, technical knowledge and at a great price. I brought in two eMTBs to update the drive train and make the bikes more ergonomic for two people in their 60s. I worked with Ric Sieben (associate GM), Jason Mezey (owner) and team to upgrade the bikes. Ric went out of his way to locate a hub XD driver for an SRAM Eagle GX cassette upgrade that I had been told by other bike shops and the web was unavailable or simply not possible. The team expertly configured and installed the new driver, and upgraded cassette, chain, and shifter. The best part was Ric found the perfect customized PNW handlebar to give my wife and I additional rise and sweep to help with our various disabilities. The team also professionally wrapped the many cables protruding from the bike (see attached pictures). I could not provide a higher recommendation to this company."
"This place checks all the boxes for an easy 5-star review: Awesome products and cool gear (bikes in particular). Excellent Customer Service, going above and beyond! Very passionate about what they do which translates into great product and local area knowledge. Family run business! Priced right. All in all could not be happier with our experience. We stayed in CO Springs for a wedding but I had my eye on the trails so there was no way i was gonna miss out on a few rides when time allowed. Routes came up in one of our searches and it was about a 10 minute drive from where we stayed, perfect. Son and I were fitted with a couple of Mondraker's (Foxy for him, i ran a Factor RR) and we were off! Hit Red Rock Canyon which is literally in their backyard, less than a 5 minute ride and were were at the foot of the hills. Beautiful terrain that made the hard work of the climbs a little easier....you gotta work for your reward but the payoff on the downhills were so worth it! As mentioned, we were pressed for time so only got a few hours in but Jason was kind enough to work out a deal to come back a few days later and get another ride in. This time I came with my Niece and hit repeat. Fitted to the bikes and off for another awesome ride back at Red Rock. [X] One of the best, don't miss it!"
