"A wonderful set of trails that are not very busy. The trails are easily accessible and doable for young children."
"I never came often enough to this park considering the short distance between it and my childhood home. Exploring the city more during summer, I've recently re-discovered it and the majestic Colorado landscapes it contains. Wandering through it brings one into contact with curving rugged paths cross through towering rock formations, hardy scrub pines, and a profusion of high grasses and bushes flourishing under the harsh mountain sunlight. Enjoy this hidden Colorado Springs delight."
"Amazing rock formations with mud and sand stones. It is located in the el paso county in Colorado Springs. The hike is pretty easy and 4.2 miles walk through the grassland and jungle to the top. There’s an amazing view from the top waiting for you. I would recommend early morning or evening hike to Pulpit Rock Park. Highly recommended. Parking could be an issue if there’s crowd"
"Seeing Pulpit Rock from the highway has just become a daily commute norm. Going to the top of it was a whole new story. I took the Pulpit Rock summit trail which was moderately strenuous. Took about 30 minutes to get from the parking lot to the top. There are so many amazing hammocking opportunities with 180 views of Pikes Peak and COS. I strung mine up on the west side of the cliff (beware: it’s VERY windy) and soaked in the sun. It took another 30 minutes to get back down to the lot. Overall, this park offers sweeping views of the city, Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, and the surrounding mountain range."
"We hiked here on a beautiful Saturday in September. Our first time at this park. It is so easy to get to and is in the middle of Colorado Springs. Moderate trails and some are shaded - a real bonus in warm weather. You can see SO much from the top! We spent about an hour and a half hiking all over. Will go again!"
