"When I moved out of my last place, you can see the chemical build up on the shower head. They charge you a rediculous amount and including the payment fee. Furthermore, I'm still waiting for my remaining deposit as they were supposed to send me it through the mail. It's been a month and a half and still have not received nothing. Absolutely, furious on how this company to advantage of its customers!"
"I am appalled and outraged by the exorbitant $50 fee charged by Cherokee metro district simply for the privilege of informing me that they would be shutting off my water service today, due to a minor delay in payment. This fee is nothing short of extortionate, punishing customers for being a few hours late with their payment. The fact that they couldn't simply send a notification email or letter, but instead required a personal visit to deliver this news, is flabbergasting. This kind of predatory practice takes advantage of customers who may be facing financial difficulties or simple human errors or in my case a well recorded medical family emergency. It's unacceptable that an essential service like water provision is being used as a cudgel to extract unnecessary fees from customers. The lack of empathy and understanding from Cherokee metro district is stunning. I urge others to be aware of these draconian policies and consider alternative water providers if possible. In the meantime, I demand that Cherokee metro district reconsider their fear and harassment tactics towards us the customers and prioritize fairness and customer satisfaction over profit gouging. This is a textbook example of corporate greed, and we the people won't stand for it." Don’t doubt that they wil strike back my review denying my allegations, but they’re the few having issues with us the many. Just check everyone reviews."
"Just moved here and all the toilets and faucets have yellow/white stain cause by the water. I took a shower and felt the dryness in my body already. I wish I would have search which water company serves this area. I thought it was CSU. I’m reading all this bad reviews from 5-8 years ago and it seems there hasn’t been any improvements. How is this possible!? Isn’t there any regulations? I guess is all about greedy corporations keeping the money for themselves."
"Over PFAS limits and they could not care less. I’ll gladly contribute to a class action lawsuit as one of my cats (like another reviewer) got a complete urinary tract blockage. I had to get a reverse osmosis system so I can make this water drinkable for them and myself."
"This water is horrible. Put this toilet in 4 months ago and it already has a water ring. I have a full house water purifier/softner and the water is still bad. On top of that I have to drink bottled water because the news and a letter from Cherokee said not to drink if you have a compromised immune system. They have the nerve to charge a $70 a month fee to all customers to get the water from their well to your house and also pay all their overhead expenses. This should be a crime. My water usage is $12 a month and I pay $80+ a month. They also charge you an additional fee to pay your bill!!"
