I had received a quote from a competitor that was much higher than what Colorado Budget Billiards ended up charging me. They had a wide range of choices to suit my needs. They took the time to explain the pros and cons of the various felts & didn’t try to upsell me. They responded to my texts & calls. They communicated with me to find times that fit my schedule. I was not in a hurry, and they had to take my bumpers into the shop to replace them. There was a small issue with the adhesive not adhering in one area of my table & they returned to correct the issue. Overall it took them three total visits, but the result is well worth it! I told them my price range and he got me a table that worked perfectly. I was in a free delivery zone so that was awesome and we got to choose the felt color which was also no additional charge. As a bonus, they gave us some better looking pockets than the ones on the table we purchased. They delivered and set up the table today. "I am not a very visual person so you can imagine my skepticism when I showed up at Colorado Budget Billiards and saw tables stacked on top of each other, some with no felt and others with pockets missing. All, I can say is, boy was I wrong. Let me start with Edmond Bartel, the store manager. He was extremely helpful, gave us a lay of the land to share with us what our different options were, told us which tables would fit within our budget, and explained some of the nuances of the tables to us, beginners in shopping for pool tables. After nearly an hour of looking around and trying to visualize the finished product, we settled on a World of Leisure table which, after doing a Google search appeared to be a very good table and which, had a frame that was solid wood and in great shape and despite not being fully assembled, appeared to be the one for us. After a bit of negotiating, we got the table into our price range and proceeded to arrange for delivery. Given that it was the holiday season, we expected it would take several weeks to receive the table but were pleasantly surprised when we were told that it would arrive in less than 2 weeks and in time for Christmas. The table arrived on time on a Saturday afternoon as two Colorado Budget Billiards vans arrived at our home at the stated time and the delivery and assembly team of Jimmy, Jordan and Bobby proceeded to bring the pieces of the table into my home, down the stairs and started to "do their thing". In addition to not being the most visual person, I am also not extremely handy so being that it was a Saturday, I watched the guys, led by Jimmy (the manager) start to assemble the table. It was actually a fascinating experience and process as I started to watch my new table come together. The removal of the old felt from the rails, the leveling of the table with the shims, the sealing of the 3 pieces of slate with the waxing and scraping, the installation of the new felt across the table - all quite incredible for a first time learner of how pool tables are assembled. After the process was complete, Jimmy gave me a complete lowdown on the care and maintenance of the table and after nearly 2 hours from start to finish, we had our beautiful new table ready for use (just for the record, I still think the felt is blue and not purple). Thank you to Edmond, Jimmy, Jordan, Bobby and the entire team at Colorado Budget Billiards. I have already started telling friends about the product and the service as these guys are major league legit and I will recommend them to anyone in Colorado who might be looking to buy a table and/or in need of any type of transportation or other pool table related service.
