"Serene place for walk, picnic, run or cycling. Good fishing spot too.. there are playgrounds near by with no washrooms. It s a dog friendly park. You will see a lot of mergansers, pintails, and buffleheads soaking in the sun here.."
"This is a great park. We were here for a baseball tournament. My only complaint was the bathrooms were closed. That makes for a long day when you are there for atleast 6 hours each day for 2 days. They did provide porta-potties but they were nasty (see photo)."
"This is a nice space but is surrounded by heavy industrial. The pathway around the perimeter of the park is great for walking and for bird watching. It is a nice length to get out and stretch your legs. There are a few other amenities here like a fishing dock, restrooms and two ball diamonds. The trail also offers some interpretive signs about the lake."
"One of my favorite parks in South Denver as the people are very friendly and the dog owners always clean up after the furry friends. The path around the lake is one mile and bathrooms are clean and available from spring through fall. They do have a basketball court next to the playground and covered tables and lots of parking on the West,South and East side of park. They also have a couple of baseball fields and is right next to the Mary Birch Greenbelt I believe that's the name of it. My dog loves to swim in the lake and greet & meet new furry friends along the path."
"Very relaxing place! I love going on walks in the summer and this is one of the best places to just sit and read when the concrete barriers on the sides of the river aren't covered with water. Wild sunflowers grow like crazy here as well! So gorgeous!"
