"The staff is great. The assistant manager and manager lack customer service. Been a long time BD customer it’s unfortunate I won’t be shopping at the store again."
"The quality of the gear here is excellent. Bought a raincoat and the staff was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. Colin in particular made the whole experience great. Up near vail a couple days after purchase, and have already received a complement on the jacket I bought. Go here for a peaceful, solid experience. Great gear. Kind folks."
"I rarely buy myself new clothes but Colin was incredibly friendly & helpful which made me feel super welcome. I’m insanely happy with my purchase of pants, shorts, & a new sun shirt. I’ve loved all of my BD products from jackets to climbing gear but always scored my BD apparels off of buddies second hand. This is my new spot for gear & I’m super grateful for the experience. Thank you BD & Colin!"
"They honored my coupon, gave me great advice on purchases, and had a great selection of gear. I got a helmet and some other stuff."
"Popped into this store a few weeks ago during a weekend in Boulder and bought a pair of the Midweight Gridtech liner gloves to wear on an upcoming backpacking trip. I wore them for 4 days inside a pair of mittens while backpacking and found the quality to be pretty terrible. The gloves pilled and developed holes in the fingers after just a few days of use. They also didn’t offer much wind resistance when compared to the OR liner gloves my partner wore on the same trip. I was back in Boulder two weeks after purchasing them, and I still had my receipt and the tags, so I tried to return them. The staff informed me they couldn’t return anything that has been worn, and handed me an iPad to fill out a warranty form. Not really the best experience with an outdoor gear brand whose equipment I’ve entrusted with my safety and life during many years of climbing. I don’t mind paying a premium for a good product, but I don’t understand the no return policy. After I filled out the warranty form, the staff said I may or may not be sent a new pair of gloves. These gloves were terrible, so I’d really just like my money back. I learned my lesson and will continue to by gear from REI."
