Reviews of The Sombrero Slide
"It took a minute but we finally realized it's an individual buried in bark dust. You see a sombrero, their knees, and boot sticking up out of the bark dust. Fun place for little one to play and grandparents to watch."
"Who does not love a sombrero slide. Even has two lanes."
"Nice park along Bear Creek trail. It's right by the highway so lots of road noise but the playground is nice. Built for 5 years and up but is OK for younger children too. Sombrero slide was pretty quick for my toddler but she loved it. There is parking but the access road and main lot are blocked off so you need to walk in."
"Right along side bear creek park. You will find sombreros slide. This play area is larger than life pun intended. Here you will not only find a sleeping giant but three other play areas. Each area is designed for different ages for play. This area is covered in wood chips. But just beyond a short concrete wall you will find a a sandy area ready for two different fossils digs. You can dig for a dinosaur or plant fossils, choose your own adventure. For the adults there are some benches and tables. This is a wonderful place to let the kids run and play. It's a clean safe environment for kids to run off some of the energy that is needed to be burned off."
