Bear Creek Park is a popular tourist attraction located at 3550 South Raleigh Street in Denver, Colorado. This urban park is open daily from 5:00am to 11:00pm, offering a range of amenities and activities for visitors to enjoy. From mid-April, park restrooms are available, although they may close temporarily in freezing temperatures. Portable toilets are deployed at permitted athletic fields and picnic sites as needed.

Athletic fields are open from mid-March to the first week of November, with synthetic turf fields open during the winter season by permit only. Drinking fountains are activated in early May and remain on until early October. Decorative and interactive play fountains are turned on in late May, operating daily from 11:00am – 7:00pm.
Annual flower displays are planted between mid-May and early June, remaining in parks until early-mid October. Parks are irrigated during overnight hours, with irrigation systems running through the night in different zones. DPR aims to reduce the need for post-emergent herbicides on broadleaf weeds such as dandelions by implementing Best Management Practices.
The outdoor pool season typically begins in early June and lasts until mid-late August. Some pools may open earlier or close later due to maintenance or staffing issues. Denver Parks and Recreation (DPR) makes every effort to extend the outdoor pool season as long as possible.
Roads and parking lots in various parks may be closed to provide more space for recreation. ADA parking spots are provided along the perimeter of the park where roads have been blocked. The Washington Park Recreation Center can be accessed via Franklin Street.
Denver's trail system connects neighborhoods throughout the city, offering a pleasant route for cyclists and pedestrians. Denver Parks and Recreation recently completed a Strategic Acquisition Plan for future parkland acquisitions. Visitors can enjoy amenities such as pickleball courts, fountains, disc golf, and more in Denver parks.
DPR's Dog Park page offers information on dog parks around the city, rules and regulations, maintenance, and closures. The mission of Denver Park Rangers is to maximize public safety, protect park resources, and provide service to visitors. Denver's interconnected parkways, parks, and neighborhoods are integral to the city's unique identity and sense of place.

"Fun park. Not too busy. Have to watch out for bikers on the main path. Swings, slide and climbing tower. Picnic tables and covered areas."
"This is a great little small park. My parents used to bring us here all the time back in the 80’s. The sombrero slide is fun, we used to play in the creek nearby and they’ve more recently added a little water park. Great memories and fun!"
