"We came on a cold winters day, which just happened to be a Lunar New Year, to see the pagoda. So beautifully constructed and painted. The plaque give the viewer something to ponder. Looking forward to returning in the spring to see the cherry trees in bloom. ⛩️"
"Very pleasant little municipal park with playgrounds, a Japanese “tower of compassion”, a stream running throughout, and public restrooms. It’s a nice place to stop for a quick stroll or some contemplation about life."
"Beautiful small park in Longmont. The pagoda is awesome with the torii at the entrance. It has a small parking lot, trails all around and exercise areas as well. A small creek goes along one side of the park, and you can walk in the nearby neighborhoods. So cool, I loved visiting the pagoda, that is what brought me to visit. Definitely make a stop if you are nearby!"
"A beautiful, wide-open park. We were here on a Saturday afternoon and saw just three other people. The Tower of Compassion could use a little bit of love, but it's otherwise a well-conceived structure -- with a nice message."
"A decent sized park with lots of attractions. It has picnic tables, benches, a calisthenics area, a basketball court, 2 volleyball nets and a themed playground with lots of grass surrounding. There is a water park, which is currently drained and closed. Running along the park is a stream and a walking path. The 5 story Pagoda is a beautiful sight, with a detailed sign that explains its purpose. A very nice reference point in the park to give you a reason to reflect. The intention of this park is very peaceful, especially since it has a peace pole, and I would recommend visiting."
