"This is a great little park for my 7 year old to practice riding her bike, her roller skates & her scooter. It also has a playground with a small zipline, a jungle gym & some things to spin on. There's a few of sets of picnic tables & a bathroom. It also looks like there's a water splash pad for the summer time."
"Stephen Day Park has something for everyone! There's a dog park, basketball court, playground, BMX bike area (for beginners), skate park, sand volleyball, walking/biking paths, and lots of grass for soccer, football, or frisbee! There are also pavilions and picnic tables and a water park during the summer. The park is clean and well taken care of."
"This place was lots of fun! We went here for a baby shower. The pavilion that the family rented was wonderful. It was very well up-kept and clean. Our pavilion was right next to the children’s play area, and that made it even better. They had a lot of things for the kids to run and play on."
"This is a nice park for multiple uses. There is a large field for sports (there were soccer nets on the field when i visited), a playground with a fountain feature that kids can turn on and run through, a small skate park and an off-leash dog park that has a doggie drinking fountain that dogs can activate themselves to get a drink. When I visited (August 28, 8:30 AM), people there were friendly, dog friendly and the park was well used with about 20-25 people there. Google maps advises you to go through the parking lot of the nearby elementary school, but if you try, you will reach a chained-off area and have to turn around. I went there for the dog park, and had to park my car on the opposite end of the park by the soccer field and walk across the grass to get there. Of course, my 4 month old golden retriever puppies had to potty as we were crossing the soccer field to get to the dog park, and even though I clean up after them, it is probably not a spot you would want to have contact with for a while. After you pass the fields, you get to the state park and playground then the dog park. I wonder how many other potty spots are between the parking lot and dog park. I saw two and cleaned those up as well. Four stars because the placement of the soccer field between the parking lot and all of the areas the people want to access and the pkacement of the dog park seems to me to be ill-advised. That being said, it is still a wonderful little park and well worth a visit."
"Love this park! Always looks so nice! Variety of fun. I always brought my kiddos when they were younger. One loved the splash pad and other would practice skate moves. In great neighborhood. Absolutely Love the vibes here!"
