"I was treated like a criminal when I went to pick up my order. I provided the order #, showed the items on my phone with my name to prove the package was delivered and charged to my JCP CC. I told the associate that I didn’t get the email but my app shows my order was ready! The associate whom is an elderly man stared at me in a condescending way, demanding my ID to prove my identity. I asked why I had to prove my identity after providing all the other information and his response was that people come in to steal packages!! He profiled me as a thief even though I provided what was needed! This type of employee can get someone in trouble with the law, shot or if the customer has health issues then he can give them an anxiety attack!! This associate was rude, condescending, devalued me and accused me in front of others. I innocently went in to just pick up my package!! Never again will I order to this store nor will I shop here! It’s a sad shame that customers are treated this way! Ol’ boy has a job because customers exist!! I have reported this to corporate and will contact the store manager tomorrow “””IF””” they’re available!! I do not need this type of treatment especially when there’s many other stores to shop at! I will probably return all my orders from the last 60 days for a full refund to my JCP CC & end my relationship with this retail chain altogether! I specifically requested that my order go to the store to prevent porch theft and innocently I go in to pick up what I’ve paid for and I’m accused of theft. The associate was refusing to go to the storage room, where they keep the packages to get mine until I showed him my drivers license to prove my identity. He also wanted me to give him my phone so he can look at it, which is an absolute no!!! Do better for your customers JCPenney!!! I asked for a manager and two associates came over to talk to me. As I stood and waited for the manager to return after getting my package, there was a male loss prevention associate in all black, feet away from me looking through the clothes like he was shopping. He was watching me for absolutely no reason cause I’ve done nothing wrong. I left the store full of anxiety, and today I still feel that way. This could’ve been prevented long before it began because the associate named Jim should understand his boundaries, respect customers, quit profiling people and just do his job. If an ID is a new policy, then Jim could’ve said it’s a policy and I would’ve understood. I have shopped at JCPenney for years and have ordered for delivery to the stores. Never once has any associate demanded I prove my identity or told me I was there to steal a package, my package!! Also, if the drivers license is a policy even though all other information was provided then apparently no other stores are abiding by it, because never once in 10 years, have I had to show my drivers license!! I did not appreciate the way I was treated, I’m a customer not a criminal!!! If people are stealing from your store, then go find those people and harass them!! Stop harassing and profiling innocent people!"

"We went on a Thursday late morning. Call ahead to check hours of blinds/curtains area associates but you could go to voice mail. The commissioned sales associate is good but has set hours. If you are in the store the cashier can probably tell you their schedule."

"Very Bad Customer Service, went yesterday to get cookware , Asked one employee if she knew winch cookware is good for glass top stove, she said I don’t know, went to pay for my cookware and the cashier said the cookware is 200 dollars, I said No is a tag showing 99.99, she called the Manager Celina she said yes is 200, I went to talked to her and said I just was here and the tag said 99.99, she said well we were changing the tags and I said well you should honor the tag that I saw at 99.99. She said unfortunately I can’t do that, I asked to talked with a Manager she said I’m a Manager, she keep telling unfortunately I can’t give you the price you saw I said is passed Noon you open at 11. You should have the tags change before the customers come in to shop she just look at Me, and I just left, oh was another employee looking at me saying you were talking to the other employee I said yes asking her about the cookware for the glass top stove, anyway I went and paid for the other stuff I got , I had been a customer since I leave in California in the 90’s I was very disappointed with Jc penny,"

"Do not shop at this location unless you want to be treated as a criminal. Was followed around the whole store then was questioned when I tried to make a return that was on my rewards account. By the manager a 65ish year old lady with the fried blond hair. This is not a way to treat a customer who’s been shopping here loyally. That’s profiling. Also she would not give me her name and laughed when I asked her and she was not wearing a name tag I will be contacting cooperate"

"The fashions are generally pretty boring. Most of the common sizes, on a lot of items, were missing from the shelves. The Memorial Day sale pricing was not impressive at all. After looking through the men’s section for over an hour, I did not find anything that interested me so I left without buying anything. Unfortunately I cannot recommend shopping here. Personally I will not come back."
