"I'd only been to a couple other Big Lots(!) (tee hee) stores before- one is very cluttered and another in Cheyenne. I don't mind cluttered if it allows for serendipitous finds as long as it's clean. It's in an older building but it's clean as was the one in Cheyenne but this one is far and above regarding cleanliness. The store is very organized as well, at least in what I've looked for. Big Lots is kind of a funny store for some things like cosmetics because sometimes there's a huge selection of decent drugstore brands just heaped together (see above - serendipitous), sometimes quite orderly. I've purchased some now and then and it always seems authentic- I know sometimes customers are concerned about counterfeits. There's usually a good stock of certain foods I really like; some I'm not sure where to buy otherwise except online. Some things are hit or miss. I skip OTC meds, etc- I've read Consumer Reports enough to be hesitant. I don't think I've ever found toiletries- I don't use drugstore for them but I've bought toiletry adjacent and they've been fine. Check the prices on everything to be sure you're getting a good deal. I've looked at housewares but I've never bought any. Staff and management are helpful and respectful at this location but not all."
