"Ive been going to the Bearded lady for over 1.5 years. The staff is wonderful and knowledgeable and the facility is clean. I love that everyone is certified as this is not required in the state of Colorado. I’ve had sessions with all of the technicians and can only say good things about all of them. My primary technician is Sam, whose warm personality would put anyone at easy while receiving uncomfortable electrical zaps. Ive seen consistent progress. Highly recommend."

"I was going here for a few months to get electrolysis and things seemed to be going well at first. Initially I was getting regular electrolysis and the techs were always able to completely clear my treatment area in 1 hour. During one of my sessions, Kate told me about “blend” electrolysis and I agreed to try it with the understanding that it was a stronger version. It was not explained to me that the blend version is not only stronger but also takes significantly longer. So when my hour was up and only half of my area was treated I asked Kate about this and that is when she explained to me that I would not be getting the same clearance that I had been used to because blend takes longer. I then asked her if I could pay for additional time to completely clear the area given that’s what I was expecting for that session, and would just book more time in the future. Kate then passive aggressively told me it was fine and that she would clear as much as she could. She then proceeded to quickly and repeatedly tap her finger against my face to try and mimic the sensation of the electrolysis needle penetrating my skin and then immediately pluck my hairs out without actually treating them first (which if you know anything about electrolysis, you know that plucking hairs without first treating them stimulates more hair growth and sets your treatments back). I don’t know how she thought I would not know she wasn’t actually treating my hairs when I had been getting electrolysis for a while at that point and was very familiar with how it feels. She was tapping her foot pedal or whatever that thing is on the machine to mimic the sound of the electrolysis machine as she simultaneously tapped my face with her latex glove finger prior to just plucking my hairs. I knew immediately what she was doing and that she was upset because I simply inquired about why my normal treatment area hadn’t been covered. As a client I am allowed to ask questions if something about a treatment is not clear to me. I did not appreciate being treated that way and I have never been back."
