"I came to this salon to get a previous acrylic full set trimmed from a different salon. I walked in and I was immediately told "we are busy" and there wasn't any space for me. they where discriminating against me. they didn't even listen to me over what I needed, and none of them looked me in the eye. I asked them when they would be less busy and they said Tuesday. I called later and they didn’t recognize my voice and asked if they had appointment today and they said "yes we do!". Their excuse when I called them out was "we don't have an acrylic artist" I didn't need an acrylic artist, I needed someone with a drill to trim my nails down. I don't like to say racism but it was blatant. *the owner responded, but they didn’t even offer to set the appointment for Tuesday while in person she turned around and walked back into the backroom. the issue was not that I felt entitled to be seen right in the moment. I had no issue waiting until later today or until Tuesday. My issue is with how I was treated when I walked into the salon. She left me there standing. It took me 20 minutes at the nail salon next door to shave it down."
