"I had a Groupon for this salon, for Jordan. I went in with zero expectations only because I don't get my haircut on a regular and the past 4 haircuts I've gotten have been terrible. But I gave him an idea of what I was looking at and he delivered . I have gotten sooo many compliments on my hair. I went with bangs which I did not have and a nice cut that frames my face. He was so gentle and took very good care when styling. I highly recommend . Thank you for giving my hair new life Jordan."

"Jim speck is absolutely phenomenal. My hair was a wreck coming in- honestly needed a color correction. Avoiding that I got the groupon for full highlights and with realistic expectations it went fantastic! He was the first stylist I've ever had that hasn't put me through pain when it came to brushing my hair after washing (my hair type knots immediately after washing).Great helpful tips and clearly years of professional skills!"

"I had an appointment with Stevie. Let me start by saying he is extremely kind and did a great cut. But the color job made my heart break. I showed him a photo of a brown color base with honey highlights and he did put a couple of brown highlights but then bright blond on top. I didn’t expect it to look exactly like the photo. But the color was not even close and I did not want any blond at all on my hair. The roots were my normal color and then there was a brassy layer then the bold streaks of blond. The back lower part of my hair was not dyed at all. It was the same color I came in with. I will definitely not return or recommend for coloring. Now I have to spend more money to correct the color. He really is a great guy and I wish I could give a better review. This was my first time getting my hair done in a long time. And he was very welcoming to my baby that I had to bring since she is nursing. He is an amazing guy. I would definitely recommend him for a cut. Just not color."

"If I could give this negative stars I would. AVOID THIS PLACE AND STEVIE LIKE THE PLAGUE. I went in to get some blonde highlights from an all natural brown hair so should've been pretty easy and has always been easy for me in the past. Just to give you a timeline of my experience - First, he forgot my appointment entirely and had a date planned so his date showed up mid-service and he was completely distracted while my hair was setting. His hands also smelled like cigarette smoke completely. By the time he blow dried my hair, it was coppery with bright blonde MONEY PIECES. I never asked for money pieces. He obviously had to leave and apologized and asked me to come again so he could fix it. I even tipped him $50 because I trusted he'd do a better job the second time. He told me to buy purple shampoo and use that between then and the next appointment. It completely turned my hair a silver purple color and I looked like a zoo animal at this point. THEN I decided to go back because he promised he'd fix it for free. 4 hours later, I still hated it at (it barely looked any different at this point) and made sure to let him know it wasn't much better and my hair still looked and felt terrible. Oh also he then charged me $25 for a blow dry LOL. I then decided to cut my losses and go to a color specialist at this point. She took before and after pictures and said that Stevie not only did a terrible job with color but actually did some severe damage to my hair with whatever products he decided to use. My highlights made me look like my roots were tiger striped. So $700 and 2 sessions later my hair is a LITTLE closer to what I originally wanted. I still have to go back one more time to tone. I've texted Stevie multiple times now to ask for a refund with ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSE. At least own up to your work. So unprofessional. So rude. Save yourself the time and money and avoid Stevie and this place like the plague. PICTURES BELOW. 1. Next day after purple shampoo (don't mind my face and dog lol) 4 & 5. Before pictures taken by my color specialist. 6. After first fix with her. She had to go back brown first because of the damage. 7. 2nd session results."
